Riot has finally revealed the long-awaited DRX Akali skin, which will release on patch 13.11.
League of Legends Worlds Championship is the biggest annual event of League of Legends. In this event, the best players worldwide compete against each other.
Since 2011, or season 1 of the game, Riot Games has held a Worlds tournament yearly. Fnatic was the winner of the first championship. Furthermore, Taipei Assassins won the season 2 Worlds Championship. And not only did they receive their prize money, but they also received a commemoration in-game in the form of their esports skins.
And since then, Riot has released esports skins for each League of Legends World Championship winner. They have also released a Worlds skin line for the first champions of Worlds, Fnatic.
Fans await each year to see what the skins for their favorite team look like. Moreover, after the release of the SSG skin line in 2017, their quality has increased tremendously. Even now, the last team skin we received, EDG, is considered the best team skin in the game.
DRX was the winner of Worlds 2022, and because of it, players were passionately waiting for the reveal of the skins. And now Riot has finally unveiled the DRX skin line.
Including the prestige skin, there will be 7 DRX skins, the highest out of all other team skins. Moreover, one of the skins is DRX Akali, which honors Zeka’s win during Worlds 2022.
Because of the matching theme, DRX skins will look slightly similar to the previous EDG skins. But it isn’t bad, as the visual particle still looks distinct and well-made. Moreover, Akali also looks impressive in this newest skin line.
