Dr Disrespect shared his opinion on Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2. His recent statements assert his discontent with where the series’ future is heading.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 were revealed worldwide on 15th September at CoD Next. The event featured the gameplay showcase for both games and the plans for the game’s future. Infinity Ward shared their vision and the innovations they aim to bring to CoD titles.
Both MW2 and Warzone 2 were received with more or less a pat on the back. However, the state of Warzone 2 left many people concerned with the direction the game was heading towards. Dr Disrespect is one of the few content creators who shared concerns about both games.

Dr Disrespect left Unimpressed with MW2 and Warzone 2.0
Dr Disrespect is one of the most impactful content creators in the gaming world. However, the two-timer is known for being brutally honest and upfront about his feelings regarding any game. Unfortunately, his “upfront” takes on CoD titles did not go well with Activision.
Due to his constant bashing and complaints about Warzone and the CoD titles that followed MW (2019), the Doc was not invited to CoD Next. In addition to his complaints about the game, the unwelcoming demeanor from Activision added more to his frustration with the game.
In his recent stream, he stated how bad the CoD Next event was. Moreover, he added that Modern Warfare 2 looked “uninspiring,” and Warzone 2 needs a ranked mode to survive through its lifecycle.
He further compared Apex Legends with Warzone, identifying how the ranked mode sets these games apart. In his opinion, Apex gives players a purpose in-game, which Warzone 2 will fail to deliver.
However, he also mentioned that if the devs balance the weapons and implement a proper ranked mode, Warzone 2 will become a solid competitor for the BR games.
While most of Doc’s disappointment with the game roots from Activision blacklisting him from the CoD partnership program, his take on the ranked mode seems to be a legit issue in the community. Surprisingly, there have been rumors about ranked mode coming MW2 and Warzone 2 simultaneously, but no official information has been released on this topic.
