Diamonds are precious and rare stones to come by in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. While there is a variety of use for this stone, most players sell Diamonds to merchants around Hyrule to earn some extra Rupees.
There are no guaranteed locations to get Diamonds. However, through this guide, we can show you some of the spots and techniques that might help you gather some Diamonds in your inventory faster.

How to Get Diamonds
Ore Deposits
A large number of Ore deposits can be found in the caves of Hyrule and as well as the depths. These Ore deposits will drop random rare ores. You might also get Diamonds by breaking these Ore deposits. There are several types of Ore deposits. But the ones with a yellowish or golden sparkle on them are most likely to drop Diamonds.
Strong Stone Taulus
Stone Taulus drops a lot of valuable ores when they are defeated. You will find a lot of them in certain locations in the depths. Defeat these Tauluses to obtain valuable ores along with some Diamonds. Keep in mind that defeating a strong Stone Taulus will give you more chances to get Diamonds.
Dondons
Dondons are very hard to find around Hyrule. You will not find these cute little creatures everywhere around Hyrule. However, a Dondon sanctuary can be found in Southern Akkala, the North side of the Lakeside Stable. Feeding the bunch of Dondons in this location might help you get some Diamonds.
Dondons, when fed Luminous Stones, drop some valuable stones and ores. Drop some Luminous Stones for the horde of Dondons and leave the area for some minutes. Go to some nearby location to complete any of your side activities. Come back to the location of the Dondons, and you might find some Diamonds lying around here if you are lucky enough.
Shrines
Shrines can be a guaranteed way to earn some Diamonds. Here is a list of all the Shrines that will give you guaranteed Diamonds.

- Jochi-ihiga Shrine (3813, 1218, 0090)
- Maoikes Shrine (2275, 0147, 0079)
- Mayaotaki Shrine (-0823, 3535, 0235)
- Momosik Shrine (2957, 2759, 0524)
- Sihajog Shrine (4545, -0846, 1121)
- Yomizuk Shrine (4412, -0610, 0034)
