Destiny 2: The Best Hunter Builds For PvP And PvE In 2022

Hello there, Guardians. If you’ve decided to become a hunter and want to be the best hunter in the game, you’ve come to the right place. However, playing as a hunter without the proper build can be extremely tough in some situations. Let us guide you!

Destiny 2 is a multiplayer online action game with a single developing universe that you and your friends can join at any moment. You can personalize your Guardian’s appearance and playstyle by unlocking powerful elemental abilities and collecting unique items.

This MMO has three distinct classes: Hunter, Warlock, and Titan, featuring unique abilities and subclasses. Unsurprisingly, Hunter is the most popular Destiny 2 Class as it is an excellent option for novices as well as returning veterans looking for a fresh new start on a brand new playstyle.

Keep in mind that some of Destiny 2’s content can be really difficult for Hunters without the proper build, and if you’re starting as a Hunter, it can be overwhelming at the beginning. In both PvE and PvP, you will be getting one-shotted by your adversaries. Don’t worry. Here we’ll showcase some of the best builds to avoid being demolished in the Destiny 2’s current meta as a Hunter in PvP and PvE.

What is Hunter Class?

Hunters are the most dominant when it comes to duels and movement, yet they are highly prone to injury. Despite their flimsiness, they may deal a tremendous amount of damage in a short time. The Hunter class is ideal if you don’t care about defense and prefer to focus solely on offense. If you are skilled enough, you will be able to kill adversaries before they can harm you.

As mentioned before, this class is the most movement-friendly in Destiny 2, allowing you to make flashy moves. You can move so fast that enemies will have a hard time tracking you down. In addition, hunters can make evasive maneuvers to avoid critical damage, and they can also get to places faster than everyone else due to their superior mobility.

The Best Build for PvP

The Gunslinger hunter is one of the most excellent PvP hunters in Destiny 2 right now in the new meta as they have a fantastic super with effective grenades. In addition, their Jump is perfect for evading hostile fire, and they excel at long-range combat because they can evade the enemy fire and deal massive damage with precision shots.

It would help if you utilized their super, the Golden Gun, for this build. You can summon a flaming pistol that disintegrates enemies with Solar Light. Additionally, you may want to use Swarm Grenade because it will detonate on impact and will release multiple drones that seek nearby enemies. You will also need to use better control jumps to move around easily while in the air.

For the Armor, we recommend using Celestial Nighthawk, Athrys’s Embrace, Ophidia Spathe, Sealed Ahamkara Grasps, or any other equivalent armor that you have in your inventory. For the weapon, we recommend using any sniper or hand cannon that can deal damage from a distance, and you will have to keep a safe distance from your foes to take advantage of your ranged weapons.

The Best Build for PvE

Arcstrider hunter is the best hunter for PvP which is an arc-based subclass that uses freezing damage on enemies. Also, they can freeze their opponent with their grenade ability and then shatter them like ice. Because they can freeze a horde of enemies and then shutter them, the Arcstrider class is one of the most vital classes to deal with many enemies at once.

Arc staff is one of the best super for the hunter, allowing hunters to throw an arc-based weapon that deals damage to the enemies in its path. Unsurprisingly, this super is excellent for dealing with a large number of enemies all at once since it can melt anyone in its path with ease. Skip grenade is perfect for this build because it splits into multiple projectiles, and they can damage multiple targets simultaneously.

For the Jump, you can use High Jump to lunch yourself high or Strafe Jump to avoid enemy attack and move to a safe location while airborne. You can also use any exotic armor with this build, but we recommend using Raiden Flux, Shinobu’s Vow, Lucky Raspberry, and Liar’s Handshake. Finally, with this build, you should use any AoE-based weapon to kill a group of enemies.

These are the two strongest Hunter Builds in Destiny 2 for PvE and PvP. And, of course, you can tweak these builds and experiment with different playstyles. Hope this helps, and best of luck out there, Guardian.
