Destiny 2’s long-awaited Season of the Deep is now live. Let’s see what the new season has in store for the Guardians.

Bungie constantly updates the game with new content and adds bits to Destiny 2‘s overall storyline. As a result, Destiny 2’s story is continuously evolving, and players are experiencing new content with each update. With the Season of the Deep update, Bungie is adding many new features and content.

For starters, the new Season of the Deep will add a new seasonal story to Destiny 2, which will let Guardians uncover the secret of the methane ocean. Bungie is also adding a new activity to the game named Salvage. Salvage will be a 6-player matchmade activity. Players will be able to explore the seafloor for the first time and face unpredictable enemies.

Apart from the main activity, there’ll be other weekly missions and small activities for players to enjoy. Not to mention, there’ll also be many new gears introduced in the Season of the Deep. So, without further ado, let’s dive into Destiny 2’s 21st season details shared by Bungie.

Titan’s ocean floor is teeming with Taken and Hive searching for something at the bottom of its methane ocean. Guardians must follow them into the deep to uncover ancient secrets and learn more about the Witness’s origins.

Recover Golden Age tech from sunken Arcology structures on Titan. Explore the seafloor for the first time as you face the Lucent Hive and a variety of enemies in several unpredictable encounters.

Week over week, dive deeper into Titan’s ocean to salvage the power needed to communicate with the mysterious creature you’ve discovered.
