What is the Spire of the Watcher Dungeon and How to Access it?
Spire of the Watcher Dungeon was added in the current seasonal update. It’s a free-to-play dungeon, and all you need to do is, talk to Ikora, and she will give you a quest of some sort, saying that you need to complete the Spire of the Watcher Dungeon.
So, First of all, head to the tower and talk to Ikrora to obtain the Spire of the Watcher Dungeon quest. After obtaining the quest, check your directory, and the dungeon will be located on your map. Now launch the mission, and complete the dungeon by following this step-by-step guide:
Reestablish Power (Beginning Encounter)
After landing inside the dungeon, you will see some enemies and yellow wire lying on the ground. These wires are a big part of a puzzle, and you need to follow an order to complete this puzzle. But before that, you need to kill some conduit Minotaur which will give you a buff called “Arctrician.” When you have this buff, you can interact with the yellow wire nodes and activate them.
- So, first of all, kill a conduit Minotaur and obtain the buff.
- After obtaining the Arctrician buff, find the starting of yellow wires.
- After finding the starting point, shoot it with your weapon, and it will start to glow.
- Then find the end of that wire and shoot it again, and Voilà.
- This wire will start to glow and become blue; from there, follow the next wire, and it will also turn blue.
- Similarly, connect all the wires and make them all blue.
- After connecting all the wires, a gate will open where you can slide through.
Begin the Ascent (Jumping Puzzle)
After going through the gate, you will enter the inner core of this dungeon, where you will face a jumping puzzle. You need to jump across the map and find the right platform to land on. Some of these jump puzzles are pretty tricky to complete, and you might need to use a triple jump or strafe jump to perform a directional jump.
Some of these jumps might look like this is not the right direction, but you have to try and make it through the puzzle to reach the next encounter. For example, one of the trickiest jumps is to land on a small platform that is hanging on the side of a pillar. After completing the jumping puzzle, go to the elevator; it will take you to the top.
Reactor Firewall Encounter (Ascend the Spire)
After reaching the top floor, you will reencounter similar yellow wires as before, and you have to turn them on by following the same old steps. However, some of these wire nodes are pretty tricky to find, especially if you are not too careful. So if you can’t find any node, don’t be frustrated, look carefully, and you will find the node eventually.
Although these are relatively easy to complete compared to the jumping puzzle, you need to be extra cautious while connecting those nodes. Because there are some ecumenical sparks or environmental hazards that will insta kill you, so be careful while moving and don’t get hit by those. If you can successfully connect these wires, a Grav lift will start, and you can ascend to the next floor.

After reaching the next floor, you will see a structure. On this structure, four different arms are jutting out, and this is where you need to focus your attention because, on each of these jutting-out arms, you’re going to see some glowing electric box jutting out of the surface. This is where the connection leads.
So start the connection in the middle of the platform where the boss spawns. Find a Minotaur kill him, get the buff shoot in the middle first and then follow the circuit out to one of these arms until eventually when you complete the circuit.
After activating those nodes, the metal box will go down, and you will get a notification on your screen saying the fuel Rod is activated, and you’re going to continue to do that for the other three fuel rods as well.
Once you do the last one, then the boss is actually going to become available to damage. So you’ll see the boss move over to that final fuel rod, which is very important to remember. Wherever the last and the fourth one you’ve done, that’s where the boss will go, so make sure you do them carefully. If you’re doing the last one, ensure your entire team is there and ready for DPS.
After teleporting right near the last fuel rod, the boss will open up, and you need to shoot the different glowing objects that look like eyes. once you’ve shot all of them, the boss will open up even more glow white and become available to DPS.
- So first of all, clear the ads, then kill the conduit Minotaur to get the buff.
- After obtaining the buff, shoot those pillars to activate them.
- Remember, the boss will be teleported to the last pillar that you have activated.
- After teleporting, its eyes will start to glow, break them, and it will enter the damage phase.
- So, place your well of radiance and start DPS.
- However, if you can kill the boss in a single phase, you have to repeat the process until it dies.
Descend Puzzle
After killing the boss, a door will open, and you have to descend to the next floor. There are a lot of ads that spawn, and there’s a new kind of mechanic that’s introduced because you’re going to see different wire connections with nodes now. However, they are red wires, and they’re going to behave a little bit differently.
There’s no node-to-node connection; instead, it’s just the node going where it needs to go, so you need to shoot all five of these red wires, and there’s always going to be five in this encounter. Find the Minotaur, get that buff, and go to a location where you can see multiple of them or spread your teammates out and then repeatedly shoot them one after another. Once all five are glowing, the bottom of the floor will open up and let you go to the next area.
Secret Dungeon Chest Location
Before entering the final boss, you can obtain a secret chest underneath the stairs. Go under the stair, and you will see a hole that leads down. Go down there and follow the narrow path, and you will find the secret chest. Remember, this path is very narrow and looks like a maze, so you can get lost somewhere pretty easily.

After dropping down from the final and the fifth room, you will encounter the last boss fight. This encounter is going to be a combination of the two different circuit mechanics we’ve learned up to this point because you’re going to see yellow wires and red wires. So while the boss is chasing you around and completely immune to damage, you need to complete these connections.
Put on a void damage resist and try to move around the map and avoid this guy because he smacks a little hard. Since you will need to kill a Minotaur, get the buff and then shoot the five different red wires, you should focus on them instead of the boss.
The first four are easy to find, and there’s one more node on top of the middle doorway. Once you shoot all these five red wires, the door will open and lead into the next part of the encounter. Once that main door is opened, it will also open two previously closed nodes for the yellow wire circuits.
So there are four different yellow wire circuits. Initially, all four are closed, and two random ones open up when that metal door is opened, and then you need to complete those two newly opened yellow circuits. So follow them all the way to the fuel rods that are located in the back of this Arena.
When you activate two different fuel rods, you will get a notification on your screen that says reactor surge imminent seek safety, and things will start blinking. It looks like it’s going to explode, but if you go away from this fuel Rod area, the boss will stand near here, and nothing will happen, and it will return to what it was.
Once you get this warning, you must head back out and shoot the five different red wires once again in quick succession. This is going to close that main door that you previously opened. Then it will become a trap, and that reactor area will be closed and kill anyone inside, so make sure you get out before there. Still, it will strip the immunity Shield off of the boss, and then you can enter into a DPS phase.
That is the mechanics of getting to a damaged phase. Once that ends, it’s the same process of opening that middle door by shooting the red wires that will let you complete two of the yellow wire circuits. The two fuel rods go down. Then get the boss in that back room. You get out of the reactor room and close that door and then enter into another down trace. Do this as many times as you need to kill the boss eventually.
