What is a Legendary Weapon in Dead Island 2?
Dead Island 2 features Legendary Weapons that offer players a significant advantage in combat. These exceptional weapons have unique perks that come with one mod slot and four perk slots for customization. However, some slots are pre-equipped with unremovable mods or perks. And as already mentioned, these weapons are not available until after completing the main story due to their sheer power.

Big Shot

This legendary-tier weapon is great for clearing paths and saving yourself from being swarmed by zombies. Just aim for the weak points, and let the fireworks-like explosion do the work.
To get the Big Shot revolver, complete the side quest It’s Not Your Fault. Luciana will assign you this quest, and for that, you need to pay a visit to Emma’s Mansion.
Brutalizer

Complete all Six Body Art side quests in Beverly Hills to obtain the Brutalizer by collecting special infected parts such as Oversized Arm Bones, Chthonic Ichor, Infected Spines, Blade Arms, and Mutated Hearts.
Emma’s Wrath

The One

It is The only One that aims directly at the head. With the Headhunter perk, this weapon gets a complete showdown. Moreover, you can make explosions and shockwaves; both are useful tactics for offense and defense. That same explosion will also heal you in this case, so it pulls double duty.
Now, to get The One, you need to complete a series of quests that involve both Sebastian and Sarah Sheppard. Complete the game and meet Sebastian at the Hollywood Boulevard safe room. And that is how you can stash The One.

The Party Starter is a pair of knuckle dusters that hit with a lethal fiery force. Moreover, it sets them on fire as well as the finishing touch. Furthermore, when a zombie is killed with your heavy attack, you will become fire-resistant and will set surrounding undead aflame. This one is my personal favorite to cause havoc.
Now, to get it, first, complete the main story. Now, visit the Sterling Hotel and find the bathroom on the first floor to pick up the phone and start the ‘Drunk and Disorderly’ Lost and Found quest. Do the task, and eventually, you will get keys for a certain car. Find the car, and you will find the knuckle dusters.
Blood Rage

Blood Rage is one of the deadliest knives you can come across in the streets of Hell-A. Featured in the original Dead Island game, it was originally wielded by the assassin Xian Mei. Its true potential comes out when you aim for the head. The sharpness and precision make it a sought-after tool for taking out enemies in the game.
You can earn this beauty by completing the Fool’s Gold questline. It can be initiated with the Lost and Found quest in the Lifeguard HQ on the Pier. Find clues that will ultimately lead you to discover the Blood Rage.

Bodycount is another one in the stash. It features a superior puncturing mod that causes a bleeding status effect to zombies. On top of that, the Exit Wound perk spreads the bleed damage to the other ones around. Moreover, each kill increases the player’s damage output.
To find it, complete the main storyline and return to the Military Barracks at Venice Beach. There, you will encounter a zombie called Lt. Ford. He will drop clues for the Lost and Found quest, also known as [Redacted]. Solve it, and you will soon inherit Bodycount.
Krakatoa

Krakatoa is the legendary deadly axe that is equipped with the Superior Melee Cremator Mod that burns its foes. On top of that, the Reaper perk to inflict heavy fire damage. It doesn’t end here; Fuel drops as the player continues to attack, making it one of the several movie prop weapons designed to maim and kill the undead.
Complete the main story to get this legendary axe in Dead Island 2. Upon completion, pick up a Lost and Found quest for ‘Steve’ at the Sterling Hotel on Ocean Avenue. After locating Steve and helping him find his leading stars, you will get this deadly prop from his movie.
