Syndra is getting a brand new skin from the Coven skin line.
With the latest PBE update, Riot has revealed the skins coming with Patch 13.20. In the patch, we will see the return of the Coven skin line. Coven 2023 will be coming with seven new skins. The recipients of the seven new skins will be Akali, Elise, Nami, Nilah, Syndra, and Lastly, Mordekaiser. In addition, Akali will be receiving a Prestige skin from the same skin line.
The Coven skin line is one of the most popular skin lines in League of Legends. It is a part of the Eclipse Universe, which includes skin lines such as Old Gods, Elderwood, Eclipse, and more. The skin line also offers a variety of beautiful skins, such as Coven Ahri, Coven Evelynn, and Old God Malphite.
With that out of the way, let’s discuss the Coven 2023 skins, notably the Coven Syndra skin. It will be the 12th skin added to Syndra’s skin collection. It features an aesthetic similar to the other Coven skins and has some solid Visual/Audio effects. Overall, it’s a very solid skin.
However, players are pretty dissatisfied with the skin. It is not because of the quality of the skin but because of its Rarity. Syndra was expected to receive a Legendary skin, and Coven appeared to be the ideal skin line for Riot to do so. Unfortunately, Nami was the recipient of the Legendary Skin. Thus resulting in a massive outcry among the player base and dissatisfaction with the skin.
