LEC Representatives for Worlds 2022
In the West, LEC has locked in three teams at Worlds despite their playoffs only having three games. With the bracket, the top teams have an advantage for Worlds qualifications. So far, these are the teams locked for Worlds 2022:
- G2 Esports
- Rogue
- MAD Lions
These teams will have more series in the coming weeks to decide the seeding of teams, so keep your eyes peeled for that. Also, two teams are fighting for the last remaining spot. These two teams are as follows:
- Misfits Gaming

The series between Misfits and Fnatic on Friday will decide which team takes the last spot for Worlds. The top 2 teams in the LEC will be in Groups Stage, while the remaining two will be in the Play-ins.
LCS Representatives for Worlds 2022
LCS is halfway through the Championship as two teams have confirmed Worlds 2022. The teams are as follows:
- Cloud9
- 100 Thieves
The tournament is still in its earlier stages, so there is a fair bit of series left to decide the seeding for Worlds 2022. However, four teams are fighting for 1 spot at Worlds. They are as follows:
- Evil Geniuses
- Team Liquid
- Counter Logic Gaming
- TSM
The stage is set as there is fierce competition for one spot remaining for Worlds 2022. So it will be a fascinating final stretch for LCS 2022.
Rest of the World
So far, only one team has confirmed Worlds for the rest of the leagues. That team is as follows:
- Isurus Gaming (LLA)
The representative from Latin America is Isurus Gaming, as they won a tough series against Estral Esports last Saturday (August 27th).
For the rest of the leagues remaining, CBLOL (Brazil) awaits their playoff finals on Saturday as paIN Gaming (PNG) will face LOUD (LLL) for a spot at Worlds 2022. The TCL (Turkey) are in a similar situation as Fenerbahçe Esports (FB) is set to face Istanbul Wildcats for a trip to North America.
Other than those two leagues, the rest have at least two series left to decide their world representatives. PCS (SEA) and VCS (Vietnam) will have two participants, one in the Groups Stage and the other in the Play-ins for both leagues. LCO (Oceania) and LJL (Japan) will send one representative, and we will know more as their playoffs progress.
