Raven Software has been keeping Warzone fresh by including new features, weapons, maps, and more. Caldera was the last significant addition to Warzone, albeit it failed to garner positive feedback from the community.
On the contrary, Rebirth Island was everyone’s go-to for a fast-paced battle royale experience. Moreover, it is the only map that features the resurgence game mode. However, to everyone’s surprise, Raven Software has announced a new map named Fortune’s Keep. Almost the same as Rebirth in size, the map is a resurgence-style map that will arrive in Warzone with the Season 4 update on June 22, 2022.
In addition to the new map, Season 4 will introduce new gameplay mechanics and in-game events. The Black Market Run is the newest addition to Warzone’s gameplay mechanics. Here’s everything we know about the new Black Market Run event.

What is Black Market Run?
The Black Market Run is a contract that will provide players access to the new Black Market Buy stations upon completion. As of writing, the contract is exclusive to the latest Fortune’s Keep map.
How does it work?
The Black Market contract will provide players with a time upon activation. After the timer starts, players must reach the marked Black Market Buy station as soon as possible. Finally, if they reach the buy station in time, they will be able to redeem exclusive in-game rewards that will give them an upper hand over other players.

- Sequencer Grenade
- Nebula V Minigun
- Specialist Bonus
- Foresight
- One of several classified weapons
It should be noted that the Sequencer Grenade and Nebula V Minigun are exclusive to the Black Market Buy Stations.
Black Market Run Release Date
According to Raven Software, Black Market Run will be arriving in Warzone shortly after the Season 4 update, which will start on June 22, 2022, at 9 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM BST. The official release date was revealed on June 15 as a part of the Fortune’s Keep map.
