Warzone Mobile is Activision and Tencent’s most recent entry into the mobile gaming scene. Here’s everything we know about the upcoming game.
Call of Duty: Mobile has been one of the most successful live-service titles in the mobile gaming industry. Following its debut on October 1, 2019, the game received a battle royale game mode after six months. After release, the battle royale received a pat on the back from the community.
Unquestionably, capitalizing on the success of the battle royale games, Activision has decided to move forward with a handheld rendition of Warzone. The game Warzone Mobile is a separate game mode that will be released very soon.
Several leaks surrounding the game have surfaced all over the internet. A Twitter account by the username “CoD_Perseus” tweeted out a video containing leaked video footage of Warzone mobile from a playtester’s device. The video gained traction within the Call of Duty community but was later taken down on the grounds of copyright violation.

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile Gameplay Leak
CoD_Perseus has a rich history of tweeting out CoD leaks that turn out to be valid after the title’s release. The footage he posted gave us a look at players jumping off the plane. Identically, the animation of the players was similar to the MW Rendition of Warzone.
The gameplay seems to be heavily inspired by its PC/Console version. For the most part, the sound effects and the apparent influence of MW (2019) are visible in the gameplay.
Warzone Mobile Maps
Last but not least, the map seems to be heavily based on Verdansk. Verdansk has been a community favorite map since its release. So it’s not a surprise that it would be included in Warzone mobile.
Further rumors suggest that Rebirth Island will also appear in Warzone mobile as its second map. All things considered, Rebirth Island is a small map that suits the configuration of mobile phones. The map draws parallels to PUBG’s Sanhok.
It’s important to remember that these are just leaks, and the developers have yet to confirm the information. As a result, take these leaks with a grain of salt until Activision makes an official announcement.
