Caldera is about to receive a massive overhaul in Season 4. Here are all the changes coming to Caldera with the start of Season 4: Mercenaries of Fortune.

With Vanguard’s integration into Warzone, players received a new map called Caldera in December 2021. However, the map struggled with various issues after launch. Raven Software kept updating the map with new POIs, an underground transit system, and more.

The main attraction of the Season 4: Mercenaries of Fortune update is the new Warzone map Fortune’s Keep. But Raven is not shying away from Caldera, and they are introducing new changes to the map. Besides various aesthetic changes, the map will receive new POIs and underground vault locations.

Caldera POI Changes

Fans were quick enough to spot the infamous Storage town in the updated Caldera. The fan-favorite location from Verdansk is replacing Ancient Ruins to the southwest of Mines. Moreover, this is one of the new micro-POIs being added to the game with the season 4 update.

Underground Vault Systems

Warzone Season 4 will have many easter eggs in the new season. The new underground mercenary vaults might be similar to the Rebirth Island’s Golden Vaults. Furthermore, players can get inside the vault to get a peek inside the vaults.

More changes will arrive with the Season 4 update on June 23, 2022. This update is a hit or miss for Raven Software, keeping MWII’s release in mind.
