Shi No Numa is returning in Zombies with the Season 4 Mercenaries of Fortune update. Here’s everything we know about it.
Zombies, originally Nazi Zombies, is a game mode created by Treyarch. It first appeared in CoD: World at War and became highly popular upon the game’s release, resulting in the mode returning in future CoD titles.
In Zombies, players face off against zombies of various nationalities depending on the map’s location, including Germans, Americans, Russians, and Asians. Moreover, Zombies’ content is only considered canon in its own universe.
The CoD Zombies community is always excited about the prospect of new map releases. And it turns out the dev team is working hard to release a new map in future updates. According to the official CoD blog, Shi No Numa will arrive on Zombies with the start of Season 4.
Shi No Numa Map
Thirteen years after its original release in World at War, the legendary round-based Zombies experience Shi No Numa is returning as part of this free update to Vanguard. Moreover, Raven has finally decided to include a round-based Zombies game mode fulfilling a community wishlist.
Shi No Numa Features:
- The player can explore the Zombies spawn area without hacking or glitching.
- The Perk-a-Cola machines spawn randomly.
- The enemies are Nazis.
- The Flogger and Zipline are unique to this map.
- Japanese weapons can be purchased.
- Hellhounds are included.
Shi No Numa Rewards
Players who complete the main quest will get an exclusive calling card in-game. However, the game mode will be challenging to complete compared to its original counterpart. Furthermore, the map fogs up without warning, and the dark environment at night combines to create a claustrophobic atmosphere.
Shi No Numa Release Date
According to Raven Software, Shi No Numa will be arriving in Vanguard shortly after the Season 4 update, which will start on June 22, 2022, at 9 AM PT / 12:00 PM ET / 5:00 PM BST. The official release date was revealed on June 15 alongside the brand new map Fortune’s Keep.
