It seems the current LoLEsports meta is drawing some ire, as Caedrel seems very fed up about the bot lane champions picked.

After the conclusion of MSI 2023, the biggest patch of the year dropped in League of Legends. Patch 13.10 introduced many interesting item changes. All the item changes and shuffling has changed how solo queue is going. Enchanters, especially, are doing really well so far.

However, pro play has not changed much in Patch 13.10. We are still seeing the same champions in the same roles, with more priority on champions like Zeri and Yuumi. This duo, in particular, is making many analysts and costreamers mad that pro play is starting to get very boring.

Seeing the same champions over and over again is not great. At this point, people are advocating for a change in format to stop this from happening over and over again to add some diversity.

Caedrel is one of the latest examples in terms of people getting mad, as a clip of his stream went viral on Reddit. Here is one of his many reactions to the current bot lane meta.

Caedrel’s Reaction To Bot Lane Meta

In this Reddit post, a user posted a clip of Caedrel’s stream reacting to a draft during the EDG vs TES game in the LPL.

He starts by commenting about watching Zeri & Yuumi vs Aphelios & Lulu in the bot lane so many times (eight, to be exact, in a month). Following that, he makes a racing noise and then imitates, going crazy to see exactly what he did not want to see.

In the end, he puts the diaphragm of the headphone on his eyes and goes, “Get me out of here.” It exemplifies how stale the current pro meta is, as it’s constantly the same bot lanes over and over again. Given how we have seen this many times, most viewers will share his sentiment.

Another Reddit post talked about the draft statistics in the LPL thus far. It is astounding how the diversity in pro play is gone. At this point, there is no solution in sight as to how the entire meta can be shifted.

So many changes were made by Riot, and yet, there isn’t much of a change in pro play. It is sad and even worse to see it every day or week. Hopefully, the situation will improve to a point where it becomes exciting before Worlds 2023.
