Riot has officially revealed the upcoming Broken Covenant Rakan skin, which will release on Patch 13.5.
Riot adds new cosmetics for champions with every patch, and Patch 13.5 is no exception. On the patch, we will get the Broken Covenant skin line, the newest skin line to be added to League of Legends.
The Broken Covenant skin line appears to be influenced by Medieval gothic church architecture or, as some speculate, Elden Ring. Whatever it may be, the skin looks absolutely fantastic. The skin line will have eight skins in total. One for each of the following champions Riven, Xayah, Rakan, Vladimir, Cho’Gath, Nocturne, and Miss Fortune, and another Prestige skin for Miss Fortune.
That said, many people are quite unhappy about the current state of the Broken Covenant Rakan skin. The skin feels very similar to the Arcana Rakan skin regarding the theme and colour scheme. Also, the skin does not have joint recall animation with Broken Covenant Xayah. Hopefully, Riot will listen to the fan feedback and address the issues soon.
The League of Legends official Twitter revealed the skin on their page.
