Finding Nightsong can be difficult at first in BG3. But don’t worry, we’ve got you covered. This guide will show you all the easiest ways to find the Nightsong.

Get on the adventure of BG3 and uncover the mysteries of the Forgotten Realms with your friends. Gather weapons and prepare for the ultimate battle against powerful Druids, Tielflings, and many more exquisite and powerful characters. Not only that, but players will also have to complete different quests and missions regarding finding the cure for the Mind Flayer parasites and epic exploration.

As the story starts, one of the most crucial quests is “Find the Nightsong,” where you will have to visit and explore various regions until you find the real Nightsong. This mission is quite significant in BG3 as it is one of the first acts of Baldur’s Gate 3 and is also connected to the game’s ending.

Where To Find The Nightsong in BG3

The Nightsong character itself is one of the most significant characters in BG3. Finding her may be difficult, but it is not complicated if you follow the correct steps and sequence of the Acts.

Kindly follow the steps below to find Nightsong:

Act One

As the First Act starts, you will visit the Druid Grove area on the Map and find Liam. Liam will talk about the Nightsong and how much money you’ll get from a wizard as a reward for finding her. After talking to Liam, the quest “Find the Nightsong will officially start.

After that, players will be instructed to visit the Defiled Ruins inside the Goblin Camp, where Priestess Gut is. Once you get to the Priestess, defend yourself and kill her. Then, go deeper into the Goblin Camp ruins to find the elf’s (Nightsong’s) bodyguard, an Ogre. You can use the Convince or Pacify option to get through it.

However, as you go deeper into the ruins and avoid or convince the Ogre, you may still find an unknown symbolic puzzle on the ground. Complete the puzzle; you are one step ahead of finding the Nightsong. A door will open in front of you if the puzzle is completed correctly. Enter the area, and it will lead you to Grymforge, where you can interact with other NPCs and ask about Nightsong’s whereabouts.

Act Two

After getting to Grymforge, the quest remains in Act Two to find the Nightsong. In the meantime, players in the Second Act will get busier with other missions and quests, but finding the Nightsong will still be valid till the end. As you near the end of Act Two, you will be asked to visit Thorm’s Mausoleum in the Last Light Inn.

Explore the Thorm Mausoleum, and as you go near the Gauntlet of Shar, there will be different puzzles to complete. Get through all the puzzles correctly and fight the boss enemy lastly to gain Umbral Keys. Use the keys to find the Nightsong finally.

After finding the Nightsong, the quest will be completed.

But meeting the Nightsong will show you two choice options to take on;

  • Kill her. Let’s finish this ritual.
  • [Persuasion] Don’t do it, Shadowheart. Don’t kill her – you’ll regret it.

If you choose the “Kill her. Let’s finish this ritual” option, there are two ways. Killing the Nightsong yourself will make Shadowheart leave your team. And if you choose Shadowheart to kill the Nightsong, she will not leave the team and eventually kill the Nightsong. After this incident, Shar will possess Shadowheart, and her emotions will change overnight without leaving any trace of romance in her for you.

But if you choose to “[Persuasion] Don’t do it, Shadowheart. Don’t kill her – you’ll regret it.“, then players may have to do a Persuasion Check and choose another option which will be about not interfering with the matters of Shadowheart and make her not kill the Nightsong.
