This is most useful during combat to restore your health quickly before going into another combat. However, you can only use two short rests within one long rest.
How to Take a Short Rest in BG3
The steps to take a short rest in Baldur’s Gate 3 are straightforward. You can use the short rest option without even returning to the camp, which makes it better than the long rest option. To take a short rest, follow the given steps.
- Press the campfire icon in the bottom right corner of your screen.
- Three extra options will appear on your screen in this order: Short Rest, Long Rest, and Visit Camp.
- The Short Rest icon is the one with a sign of an eye and one dot beneath it. Press on the icon to take a short rest successfully.
