How to Increase Your Health in LEGO: Fortnite
If you want to replenish your hearts or gain passive health regeneration or straight up want to increase your max number of hearts, then look tips we have for you below:
Increase The Maximum Number of Hearts
In LEGO: Fortnite, you always start off with 3 hearts. Which honestly, is very limiting when you’re up against the tougher enemies in the game. Fortunately, one of the earliest recipes you learn is for a Health Charm.

To craft a Health Charm, you need the following items:
- 3x Silk Threads (Obtained by hunting spiders)
- 3x Bones (Obtained from hunting skeletons)
- 5x Wolf Claws (Obtained from hunting wolves)
Note that this is the most basic version of a health charm. Each one crafted will provide you with an additional permanent heart with a one point defense boost as well.
As with all the equipment and weapons, the charms have their own tiers as well. For example, a Rare Health Charm will give you 3 additional hearts with 5 point increase in Defence, but will need the following items to craft:
- 3x Wool Thread (Obtained from chests or by petting rams)
- 3x Cut Amber (Obtained from Amber deposits)
- 3x Sand Claw (Obtained from defeating sand wolves)
- 3x Flexwood Rod (Harvested from Cacti in Dry Biomes)
Replenish Your Health Bar
The more obvious way of keeping yourself alive is to keep replenishing your depleted hearts. Although most players figure that out in the first few minutes of the game, it’s vital to know that not all food provides the same effect.

Generally, raw food items restore less health than prepared ones. Like a Pizza will replenish way more hearts than a Pumpkin. Also, keep in mind that you need to be standing still while you eat. Getting attacked or trying to move while you eat will cancel the animation.
One last way to replenish health is through sleeping in your bed. Beds can be crafted fairly easily with 10 pieces of wood. Although it does take a bit of time, there’s nothing to complain about since it’s essentially free.
