The Grau 5.56 is a versatile Assault Rifle with a high fire rate and damage range. Here’s a step-by-step tutorial on creating the optimal loadout for the Grau 5.56 in Warzone Season 5 Last Stand Reloaded.

The Grau 5.56 is one of the most adaptable Assault Rifles in Modern Warfare’s arsenal. The weapon was released alongside the second season of Modern Warfare in 2019. The gun was an instant success due to its ability to compete with the M13 and M4A1. The rifle quickly became a regular in the meta, multiplayer, and Warzone.

With its more comprehensive range of barrels, the gun could handle long-range, mid-range, and close-range gunfights. The barrels allowed the weapon to adapt to any playstyle desired by the players. Content creators constantly using the gun became a staple Assault Rifle for Warzone. It possessed the ideal balance for Warzone and could easily compete with S.M.G.s and long-range beamers.

The Grau was nerfed significantly due to its high pick rate and dominance in Warzone. The gun dominated gunfights on Verdansk due to its fire rate, low recoil, and a slim iron sight that allowed players to aim easily without using an optic.

How to Unlock the Grau 5.56 in CoD Warzone

The Grau 5.56 was introduced in the Season Two Battle Pass system and has become one of Warzone’s most popular weapons. Players who began playing after Season 2 can still obtain the Grau by completing the following in-game challenge:

Get five kills in a minute when using an Assault Rifle 25 times.

To unlock the weapon faster, go on the offensive when attempting to complete this challenge. The more aggressive players are, the more likely they will complete the challenge swiftly.

Ensure that whatever Assault Rifle is used has a large magazine or ammo supply. Using the Fully Loaded Perk and Extended Mags would be the best option. The Kilo 141, with a 100-round magazine, is among the top Assault Rifles with this challenge.

Assault Rifles function best in the medium range. Maintaining a bit of a distance between your enemies is ideal. So, even if an enemy is immediately in front or far away, you should go for the kill. Just remember to follow a safe distance between the enemy player and yourself.

Smaller maps will be the players’ greatest friend in this challenge; try playing on maps like Shipment or Rust since these close-quarter conditions provide the ideal opportunity to achieve several kills in a short period.

Larger spaces, such as Warzone, can also be advantageous. Players can quickly get the five kills required when they drop into a densely populated location and grab a gun. Players who do this every game have a high chance of finishing this challenge.

Best Grau 5.56 Loadout

Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor
Barrel: Tempus 26.4″ Archangel
Laser: Tac Laser
Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip
Magazine: 60 Round Mags

Anyone familiar with the weapon pool in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare should know how potent the monolithic suppressor is, regardless of the weapon. The extra power makes any weapon more viable in long-range gunfights. The main disadvantage of choosing a monolithic suppressor is a slower walking speed when aiming and a slower A.D.S. (aim down sight) speed.

Similarly, the Tempus 26.4″ Archangel barrel is the way to go for the Grau 5.56. It will improve damage range, bullet velocity, and recoil control significantly. This barrel is the most robust attachment for the weapon and substantially strengthens the Assault Rifle. The sole drawback is the slower aim down sight and movement speed, which will be rectified later with other attachments.

Tac Laser increases aim down sight speed. However, laser sight will be visible to opponents when aiming down the sights. Commando Foregrip increases the aim down sight speed of the weapon. This gun needs no optics and has the best iron sight in the game. Without optic, the aim-down sight speed of the weapon is very high.

Best Equipment & Perks for Grau 5.56 Loadout

  • Secondary: MP40 (Vanguard) or Kar98k (Modern Warfare)
  • Tactical: Stim (Modern Warfare), or Heartbeat Sensor (Modern Warfare)
  • Lethal: Throwing knives (Modern Warfare), or Proximity Mine (Modern Warfare)
  • Perk – 1: Quick Fix, or E.O.D
  • Perk – 2: Overkill
  • Perk – 3: Amped, or Combat Scout
Perks

Quick Fix is an excellent perk for players who are continuously engaged in gunfights, as it enables rapid health recovery when an enemy is killed. Choosing E.O.D. to take less damage from non-killstreak explosives and fire is also feasible.

Overkill as the second perk is a must. Players can carry an extra primary weapon in the secondary slot. Pairing MP40 or Kar98k with this Assault Rifle will make the loadout more potent, and the secondary will help handle both long to close-range gunfights with ease. Our MP40 loadout focuses on a close-range S.M.G. build.

Amped is the best way to switch between guns quickly. Faster switching between weapons will give players an advantage over other players. The perk combat scout briefly highlights the entire team when an opposing player is shot.

Stim
Stim (Modern Warfare)

As for tactical, stim gives an instant health regeneration upon use. The Heartbeat Sensor can assist in tracking down other players in the area and planning the next fighting tactic. Throwing knives as lethal can be a backup in a close gunfight.

It has a one-shot potential on players with a minimal level of armor. Furthermore, instantly throwing a knife after downing a player will eliminate the player regardless of the range. Instead, proximity mine can be used instead of throwing knives to watch flank when stationary.
