The Ghost is the go-to weapon for pistol and eco rounds for many VALORANT players: casuals and professionals alike. In this article, we’ll rank the skins from worst to best.
The Ghost is a Pistol in VALORANT priced at 500 in-game credits and is one of the most popular first-round choices. If it’s a headshot, the Ghost can 1-shot enemies without armor at short to medium distances. It is very accurate and has a 15-round magazine. Due to this, it is often seen used in Eco rounds. The Ghost can kill light armored enemies with 1 headshot & 1 body shot and heavy armored enemies with 1 headshot & 2 body shots. This is why it ranks 4th among the weapons with the highest kills in VALORANT.
Skins in VALORANT are merely decorative and do not offer any real in-game advantages vs. the default skin. Although compared to other games like CS:GO, which only offer recolors of the same exact weapon, the devs at Riot went a bit overboard with the skins in VALORANT as they completely alter the look of the weapon, add special VFX, GFX, and one skin turns your weapon into a literal dragon!
Best Ghost Skins in VALORANT 2023: A Complete Tier list
Since the game’s release, Riot has released more than 33 different Ghost skins in VALORANT as a part of weapon bundles, agent contracts, and battle passes. As battle pass skins are obtainable only during their respective act and cannot be obtained later in the store, we excluded those from our top 10 but included them in the tier list. Battle pass skins are occasionally good, but they aren’t usually better than skins from featured bundles and some agent contracts, so our top 10 will remain unaffected by their exclusion.

The firing sounds, skin color variants, and finisher put this Sheriff’s skin in our top 2.

1. Sovereign Ghost
Finally, we have the Sovereign Ghost at our #1 spot. The Sovereign bundle is one of the oldest but best-looking bundles in the game. It features an angelic or holy theme with intricate patterns in white with gold accents. When upgraded, it also shines in blue. The Sovereign Ghost also comes in different color variants as well. The best one is the black and purple combination which looks amazing and is often considered a dark version of the skin. The other two are nothing to write home about, though.
The Sovereign Ghost has very satisfying firing sounds as well as GFX, and a very excellent finisher finally seals the deal on why this is the best Ghost skin you can get in VALORANT to date.
