Here we will take about all the best Bloodhound skins that Respawn has released in Apex Legends so far in 2021.
Respawn released Apex Legends as the battle royale spin-off of their popular FPS game Titanfall back in 2019, and within weeks it cemented itself as the best battle royale game in the market. Since the game was free-to-play, it garnered a lot of players within a very short period of time.
The original roster of eight legends that were launched with the game also became a massive hit among the player base as they all had very unique personalities and distinct character-specific abilities.
Among them, Bloodhound stood out from the crowd with their tactical scan ability that literally gave players the ability to see enemies through walls. This paired with an ultimate and passive ability that helps with tracking down enemies, they were an instant hit among the players.
As Respawn sells cosmetic items such as skins for each individual legend, over the years BloodHound has amassed quite a diverse collection of skins in Apex. While some of them are more popular than others, all of them combined still provide a robust collection of skins for players.

How Many Bloodhound Skins are there in Apex Legends?
Right now, in season 10 of Apex Legends, Respawn has released 68 skins for BloodHound so far. And among them, there are 19 legendary, 7 epic, 27 rare, and 16 common skins for BloodHound.
Best Bloodhound Skins in Apex Legends (A Complete Tier List)
Here we’ll rank all of the legendary Bloodhound skins in the game and put them into three distinct categories such as S-Tier, A-Tier, and lastly B-Tier. Basically, S-Tiers skins are the cream of the crop when it comes to Bloodhound skins.
And they are closely followed by A-tier skins. Unsurprisingly, they are also really good but fall a bit short to be called an S-Tier of skin. And lastly, there are B-tier skins. In short, they are just average in terms of their looks and popularity among the player base.
We also took rarity into consideration while ranking these skins as some of the rarest skins in the game are usually recolors or old event-related skins. However, these rare skins are really sought after by the community. Also, as with any other tier list, this one is extremely subjective.
- S-Tier: The Centurion, Wise Warrior, Protector of the Patch, Great Winter, The Intimidator
- A-Tier: The Plague Doctor, Imperial Warrior, Raven’s Shadow, Wandering Warrior, Young Blood
- B-Tier: The RuneKeeper, Royal Guard, Radiant Stalker, Road Warrior, Wicked Harvest, Dangerous Game, Hunter’s Moon, Royal Huntmaster, Royal Livery
Top 10 Best BloodHound skins in Apex Legends
As we mentioned earlier, over the years Respawn has released a pretty diverse collection of legendary BloodHound skins. Now, we are going to highlight ten of the best ones. Among these skins, some do stand out more than their counterparts mainly due to their unique design or a really dope-looking colorway.
The Centurion skin was released alongside the now-infamous Iron Crown collection event that also came with Bloodhound’s heirloom. Respawn took obvious inspiration from the old medieval knights’ armor to bring this skin to life. The overall gold colorway of the armor with subtle red highlight on top of the helmet really made it stand out from the crowd. Also, Respawn later released a blue recolor of this skin called “Royal Huntmaster” with the War Games event.
The Old Ways collection event in Apex Legends featured a Bloodhound-themed town takeover on the World’s Edge map. Alongside the BloodHound themed PoI, Respawn also blessed fans with this Wise Warrior skin that has strong ties with BloodHound’s upbringing as revealed in the event trailer. Also, the owl-themed silver colorway definitely made players drool over this skin.
Protector of the Patch
Respawn made Halloween fans really happy with this pumpkin head Bloodhound skin clearly inspired by scarecrows. Unsurprisingly, it was released alongside the Fight or Fright event in Apex Legends. This scarecrow-inspired skin became an instant hit among BloodHound mains. Also, Respawn later released a red recolor of this skin called “Wicked Harvest” alongside the Fight or Fright event.
The Great Winter is a recolor of the Imperial Warrior Bloodhound skin. Even though that original skin had multiple recolors, this white one is extremely rare. As such, this version of the recolor is really sought after by the Apex community. The Japanese Samurai warrior-inspired skin obviously goes really well with Bloodhound.
The Intimidator is the legend edition skin for Bloodhound and it also came with a Prowler legendary skin along with additional cosmetic goodies. Similar to other character edition skin bundles, Respawn went all in for this one and created this one-of-a-kind hunter skin for Bloodhound. And the red colorway is just a bonus at this point.
The Plague Doctor
The Plague Doctor is one of the popular skins for Bloodhound players. As the name implies, it is a skin inspired by the infamous plague doctors from medieval times. This depiction of plague doctors is really horrifying and Bloodhound’s mask made the skin really click for many players. Also, there is a brown recolor for this skin called “Raven’s Shadow”.
The Imperial Warrior skin is one of the four default legendary skins in the game. Among them, this one is also really popular alongside the Plague doctor skin. Even its recolors are really sought after by the Apex community. This blue and gold colorway goes really well with the Samurai Warrior theme.
Wandering Warrior is a recolor of the basic Royal Guard skin. Among the other recolors of this basic Royale Guard skin, this one is really popular among the fanbase. The teal colorway goes really well with this Samurai warrior-themed legendary skin for Bloodhound.
Respawn introduced the Young Blood Bloodhound skin with the Old Ways collection event. As the name implies, it featured a young Bloodhound in their hunting attire. Based on the character lore of Bloodhound, this skin has significant meaning in the Apex storyline which was hinted at with the Old Ways event cinematic trailer.
Respawn released this one-of-a-kind industrial-looking Bloodhound skin featuring sharp lines with the Fight Night collection event in Apex Legends. This maroon-colored skin is quite unique as other Bloodhound skins are usually very organic looking in nature. Following its release, this skin became a fan-favorite among the player base.
