In Baldur’s Gate 3, you will have to make camp to replenish your party. Here is how to do it in the game.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is based on the 5th edition Dungeon and Dragon rules. While some of the rules see changes when imported to digital from the tabletop game, most of the rules stay pretty much the same. Camping is one way in DnD and, in turn, Baldur’s Gate 3’s way to replenish your party.
Camping has a few variants in the game. You have the short rest, which heals the team partially and recovers a spell slot. And then, there is the long rest which has your party set up camp and fully recover everything with a rest. Here is how to set up camp in the game.

Making Camp in Baldur’s Gate 3
In the bottom right corner of the screen, you will find a camp icon on your hotbar. All the camping options can be found here. To make a camp in Baldur’s Gate 3, click the camp icon first. There you will see the short rest that doesn’t need anything and is instant. Then there’s go to camp which will have your party travel back to the camp. And finally, in the middle, you have the long rest, which is the option if you want to set up camp.
Camp can be set anywhere in Baldur’s Gate 3, given you are not in combat. But camping comes with significant resource costs. You will need 40 camping supplies to set up a camp. Any food items can be contributed towards this supply. You can also buy camping supplies from some vendors.
Once you have enough supply, simply click on the button and confirm to set up your camp. There you will have the option to talk to your party members and sleep to replenish all health and spell slots for all members of the party.
