List of all temples in Assassin’s Creed Shadows and how to find every lost page.

There are many points of interest for you to explore in Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The map is made up of 9 regions: Harima, Iga, Kii, Omi, Settsu, Tamha, Yamashiro, Yamato, and Wakasa. And each region, except Iga, has temples for you to find and explore, 36 in total.

Moreover, each temple has lost pages for you to find, and finding all lost pages in a temple gives you knowledge points and XP, which is useful for making Naoe and Yasuke even stronger. Especially knowledge points, which are used to unlock abilities for weapons.

How to Find Lost Pages

Once you enter a temple’s area, a tooltip will appear showing the number of Lost Pages within that area. Use the Observe action by holding L2/LT (or the Right Mouse Button if you’re on PC), and follow the white dots that appear to find the Lost Pages.

However, keep in mind that some temples will have hostile patrolling the area.

Izumi Settsu

Makinoodera Temple

• Location:
  • Southwest of Osaka, in the southern part of Izumi Settsu.
  • You’ll begin the game at this temple.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: In the damaged building left of the massive building in the northwest side of the complex.
  • #2: Further ahead of the damaged building, behind a stone pillar in the bushes.
  • #3: Walk around the massive building to find another damaged building. The lost page is in the attic of that building.

Gansenji Temple

• Location:
  • South of Sakai.
  • You’ll come across this temple while playing through “The Fatherless Monk” main quest.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: Behind the boulder on the right as you enter through the front gate.
  • #2: On the roof the largest building in the complex

Tennoji Temple

• Location:
  • Southeast of Osaka.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: In the northwest corner, next to the small pond.
  • #2: In the northeast, just outside the walls.
  • #3: On top of the damaged building in the east side.

Yamashiro

Toji Temple

• Location:
  • In the Southern part of Kyoto.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: On top of the building in the west.
  • #2: On a tree branch in the north.
  • #3: In the middle of the pond.

Tofukuji Temple

• Location:
  • Southeast of Kyoto, in the Hills of Meeting.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: In a small pond behind the bridge as you enter through the south.
  • #2: On the roof of the building with the gate in the northeast side.
  • #3: West of the building with the gate, behind a large bell.

Honnoji Temple

• Location:
  • In the middle of Kyoto.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: On a damaged building to the right of the southern gate.
  • #2: Go through the large building in the middle. The lost page is on the dried up pond to the right.
  • #3: On the roof of the large building in the north.
  • #4: From the large building in the north, head east to find an unscathed building. Crawl under this building to find the lost page.

Tenryuji Temple

• Location:
  • Northwest of the Eagle’s Nest Kakurega, between Kyoto and Arashiyama Forest.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: In the southwest, on the roof of the large building.
  • #2: In the top floor of the watchtower in the north.
  • #3: In the middle of the pond.

Kiyomizudera Temple

• Location:
  • Southeast of Kyoto.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: On the north side, above the Buddha statue, on a tree branch.
  • #2: On a wooden fence in front of the building in the east.
  • #3: On a small rock in the pond opposite the wooden fence.

Shokokuji Temple

• Location:
  • In the northern part of Kyoto.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: In the large building below the viewpoint.
  • #2: Inside the building southeast to the viewpoint.
  • #3: On the roof the building south to the viewpoint.

Kinkakuji Temple

• Location:
  • East of the Arashiyama Kakurega, in the Genbu Highlands.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: On the ground next to the path through the east gate.
  • #2: On the large building just behind the closed gate.
  • #3: In the middle of lake.
  • #4: In the north side, inside the small hut.

Ginkakuji Temple

• Location:
  • Near the lake northeast of Kyoto.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: Behind the boulder on the other side of the pond.
  • #2: From the boulder, cross the bridge to the left. The lost page is under the tree with the yellow marks.

Kuramadera Temple

• Location:
  • In the northernmost side of Yamashiro, to the northwest of Kyoto.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: On the roof directly below the viewpoint.
  • #2: South of the viewpoint, next to a large tree.

Byodoin Temple

• Location:
  • Northeast of the Ogura Scenic Kakurega.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: Behind the boulder on the right as you enter through the front gate.
  • #2: On the roof the largest building in the complex

Omi

Miidera Temple

• Location:
  • In the southern part of Omi, just north of the Otsu Kakurega, close to Yamashiro’s border.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: On the roof of the pagoda.
  • #2: On top of the southernmost building.
  • #3: On the ground in the northernmost part of the complex.

Enryakuji Temple

• Location:
  • West of the Sakamoto Kakurega.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: In the attic of the destroyed building, past the front gate and staircase.
  • #2: On the highest part of the complex, inside the tower on the left of the stairs.
  • #3: In the small ruin on right of the stairs.

Isakiji Temple

• Location:
  • On the eastern shore of Biwa.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: Above the large bell in the middle of the complex.
  • #2: Near the building closest to the lake, the lost page is on a boulder.

Hogonji Temple

• Location:
  • On an island in the northernmost part of Lake Biwa.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: On the roof of a small building west of the pagoda with the viewpoint.
  • #2: On the roof of the large building west of the pagoda with the viewpoint.

Daikichiji Temple

• Location:
  • On the northernmost part of the map, northeast of Nagahama.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: Follow the uphill to the highest point of the temple, the lost page is in a small ruin to the left of this path.
  • #2: To the left of the highest building, on a branch of a large tree.

Sokenji Temple

• Location:
  • In the southwest part of Azuchi, on the eastern shore of Lake Biwa.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: On the terrace below and around the pagoda.
  • #2: In the backyard, northeast of the terrace. The lost page is behind an altar.

Harima

Kyokaiji Temple

• Location:
  • In Kamakarua Valley, in the northeast part of Harima.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: In the attic of the large, broken down building.
  • #2: Behind the gear vendor.

Aga Hontokuji Temple

• Location:
  • In the southwest corner of Harima, in the heart of Aga.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: Just below the roof of the large building in the center.
  • #2: On the roof the largest building in the complex

Tanjosan Myoyoji Temple

• Location:
  • In the eastern part of Harima, on top of a hill in the southeast corner of the Warfields.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: On the ground floor of the tallest building in the complex.
  • #2: Soutwest of the viewpoint, in a damaged building. Head down the stairs to find it.
  • #3: South of the viewpoint, on a table in a square courtyard. The table is surrounded by red flags.

Mitsunodo Hall

• Location:
  • Follow the road north of Hijemi Castle.
  • The temple is in the northern corner of Engyoji.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: In the well-lit building left of the entrance.
  • #2: On the right side of the balcony of a building in front of the entrance.

Yamato

Todaiji Temple

• Location:
  • In the northern part of Yamato, right in the heart of Todaiji.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: On the big pagoda’s ground floor in the complex’s southeastern corner.
  • #2: On the big pagoda’s ground floor in the complex’s southwestern corner.
  • #3: In the northern corner of the gardens, on a rock.
  • #4: In the northwestern corner, under the small wooden building.

Kofukuji Temple

• Location:
  • South of the Todaiji Temple
  • East of Koriyama.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: On the second-floor balcony of the central building
  • #2: On the southeastern pagoda’s top floor
  • #3: Below the floorboards of the southwestern pagoda. You need crawl through a crack in the wood to find it.

Nyoirinji Temple

• Location:
  • Between a Shrine and a Kuji-Kiri location in the northeastern corner of Yoshino.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: Right next to the viewpoint.
  • #2: On top of the pagoda behind the viewpoint.
  • #3: On top of the building with the golden decorations, behind the pagoda.

Wakasa

Gokurakuji Temple

• Location:
  • Just north of Yamashiro’s border.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: On the first building through the south gate.
  • #2: Follow the uphill road leading north from the main grounds. The lost page is inside the cave.

Saifukuji Temple

• Location:
  • In the northern part of Wakasa, on the hills southwest of Sotomo Gate.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: On the balcony of the first building through the eastern entrance.
  • #2: Inside the building on the westernmost corner.

Tamba

Sukyoji Temple

• Location:
  • Southern part of Miyazu Bay.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: On the roof of the first building left of the eastern entrance.
  • #2: On a tree opposite the first lost page.

Annonji Temple

• Location:
  • In the southern part of Tamba.
  • In the northern corner of The Silver Lands.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: On the top floor of the pagoda, right below the viewpoint.
  • #2: In the attic of the broken house southwest of the pagoda.
  • #3: In the building southeast of the pagoda.

Kii

Negoroji Temple Grounds

• Location:
  • In the heart of Negoroji.
  • In the northwestern part of Kii, just outside Izumi Settsu’s border.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: Below the floor of the building southwest of the large pagoda.
    • To get below the floor, go to the northwest corner of the building and destroy the pots to crawl underneath.
  • #2: On the trough just south of the large. pagoda.
  • #3: Below the broken bridge in walled garden west of the large pagoda.
  • #4: In the westernmost corner, on the top floor of the smaller pagoda, directly behind the broken bridge
  • #5: On the building in the northeast corner of the temple, under the roof.

Saika Temple Grounds

• Location:
  • Just below the Saika text on the map, on the west coast of Kii.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: In the bushes to your left as you enter through the north.
  • #2: On one of the beams on the top floor of the large pagoda, just below the top roof.

Jison-in

• Location:
  • On the road between Saika and Koyasan.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: Right next to the tree to the right of the western entrance.
  • #2: A bit ahead of the first lost page, next to the large bell.

Koyasan Danjo Garan

• Location:
  • In the western part of Koyasan.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: On the balcony below the viewpoint.
  • #2: Southwest of the viewpoint, on a small stone pillar.
  • #3: On the westernmost building.
  • #4: On the pagoda in the western side.

Kongobuji Temple

• Location:
  • In the northeast part of Koyasan.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: In the southeast part of the temple, on the balcony, next to the wooden trunk.
  • #2: On the ground floor of the big building in the heart of the complex. It is on a high beam under the roof.
    • You’ll need to climb the wall to get it.
  • #3: In the northern part of the complex, next to the altar above the big building.

Dojoji Temple

• Location:
  • In a small town on the southwestern coast of Kii, in the southern part of Sazae Oni Shores.
• Lost Pages:
  • #1: On the first balcony of the big pagoda.
  • #2: Next to a stone pillar in the western corner of the complex.
