Embark Studios has rolled out Arc Raiders Patch 1.27.0, and while this is not a massive balance update, it still brings several important fixes across ARC behavior, audio, cosmetics, maps, utility items, and progression. The update went live on May 5, 2026, and players are advised to restart the game to download the latest patch.

Patch 1.27.0 arrives shortly after the release of Riven Tides, and Embark says it is already looking into balancing adjustments based on player feedback from the update. However, those balance changes are not part of this patch. Instead, 1.27.0 focuses mainly on cleaning up bugs, improving visibility, fixing map issues, and addressing a recently introduced Trigger โ€˜Nades exploit.

Arc Raiders Patch 1.27.0 Is Now Live

Arc Raiders Patch 1.27.0 is rolling out now, meaning players should restart their game before jumping back into the action. This is especially important if you are planning to play Riven Tides, as several fixes in this patch directly target issues introduced or noticed around the new content.

Embark also confirmed that the Corsaro Set and Mutton Chops facial hair bundle are now available in the in-game store. That gives players a small cosmetic refresh alongside the gameplay fixes included in this update.

ARC Changes in Patch 1.27.0

The biggest gameplay-related fixes in this patch focus on the Turbine and how players interact with threats while carrying objects. Previously, Turbine attacks were not always visible from far away, which could make encounters feel unclear or unfair. Patch 1.27.0 fixes that visibility issue, making long-distance Turbine attacks easier to read.

Embark has also changed how players respond when attacked by Ticks while carrying something. Players can now drop their carryable item and fight back, which should make those moments feel less frustrating. On top of that, proximity mines deployed from the Turbine should now have improved visibility, while Turbine landing behavior has been improved to reduce awkward landing zones such as treetops.

Audio Fixes Improve Turbine and Riven Tides Feedback

Audio also gets a noticeable pass in Patch 1.27.0. One of the key fixes addresses an issue where the Turbineโ€™s sound effects could quiet other game sounds. That should make combat and environmental audio feel more consistent, especially during chaotic encounters.

The Turbine can now also be heard from a greater distance, which should help players react earlier when one is nearby. Riven Tides has received its own audio fix, too, as vegetation-heavy areas previously lacked proper feedback when players moved or fired weapons. Patch 1.27.0 also fixes audio and animation issues that could happen when players try to use items very quickly.

Cosmetics Updated in Arc Raiders Patch 1.27.0

The cosmetic changes in this update are small but still worth noting. The Howdy emote has been updated so players can now use it while sprinting. Meanwhile, the Rachetta outfit has received a color correction, making its colors more accurate in-game.

Riven Tides Map Fixes

Riven Tides receives a few direct map fixes in Patch 1.27.0. The Field Depot point of interest now properly counts toward the Off the Radar quest, which should help players who were stuck or confused by quest progress not updating correctly.

Embark also fixed several floating and buried fruit baskets across the map. More importantly, the update fixes a spot where players could fall through the floor, which should reduce accidental deaths or frustrating map-related problems during raids.

Stella Montis Gets a Collision Fix

Stella Montis also gets a smaller but important fix in this update. Patch 1.27.0 fixes a missing collision on a wall that previously allowed both ARC and players to shoot through it. That kind of issue can create unfair fights, so this should make engagements in that area more consistent.

Trigger โ€˜Nades Exploit Fixed

One of the most important utility fixes in Arc Raiders Patch 1.27.0 targets Trigger โ€˜Nades. Embark fixed a recently introduced bug that allowed players to trigger grenades instantly when thrown.

This fix should help restore the intended timing and counterplay around Trigger โ€˜Nades. Since utility items can heavily affect raid fights, removing an instant activation bug is a meaningful change even if the patch itself is mostly focused on fixes.

Progression Fixes in Patch 1.27.0

Patch 1.27.0 also includes a progression-related fix for the Late Departure window. The information shown there now accurately displays the correct Catch Up Rewards, which should make the reward flow clearer for players returning to the game or catching up on seasonal progression.

Arc Raiders Patch 1.27.0 Focuses on Cleanup After Riven Tides

Arc Raiders Patch 1.27.0 is clearly more of a cleanup update than a major gameplay shakeup. There are no weapon balance changes or large system adjustments here, but the fixes still matter. Turbine readability, Riven Tides quest progress, Trigger โ€˜Nades behavior, audio feedback, and collision problems all directly affect how fair and polished the game feels.

The more interesting part is what comes next. Embark has already said it is exploring balance adjustments based on feedback from Riven Tides, but the studio wants to get those changes right before sharing details. For now, Patch 1.27.0 should make Arc Raiders smoother, cleaner, and less frustrating while players continue grinding merits in Riven Tides.
