Apparently Aphelios is on the patch 10.15 nerf list once again while Caitlyn is getting some buffs.

The state of ADC in season 10 might not be the best in League of Legends but some champions like Ezreal, Varus, and Aphelios have been a viable champion even without the patch 10.11 ADC balance patch. Which resulted in them getting nerfs again and again.

And now today, League of Legends’ lead gameplay designer Mark “Scruffy” Yetter previewed the patch 10.15. And it seems like Aphelios is on the patch 10.15 nerf list once again. They are also planning to give some buffs to Caitlyn as well. All the changes are going to PBE soon and will hit the live servers on patch 10.15.

Aphelios Nerf Patch 10.15

  • SENTRY ACTIVATION TIME 0.25 seconds to attack target in range ⇒ 0.35 seconds to attack target in range

  • Infernum hurricane bolts no longer damage enemies they pass through
  • Infernum crit cone missiles: 8 >>> 6
  • Infernum hurricane cone missiles: 4 >>> 3
  • Crit Hurricane cone missiles: 8 >>> 5
  • Infernum hurricane cone length reduced by 100 units

Another patch another nerf for the newest AD carry of League of Legends. Ever since his release on patch 9.24, he became one of the most popular champions in League of Legends. Thus, he had to pay a high price for his popularity as well. Even without the nerf on patch 10.15, Aphelios already got changed ten times in fourteen patches.

However, even with all these nerfs, Aphelios still has around 30% ban rate in Plat+ Elo with a 15% pick rate. Although his win rate in the soloq is just around 48%, his presence in the pro games is around 80%. And due to this high presence in pro games, Riot is giving him nerfs once again on patch 10.15.

Caitlyn Buff Patch 10.15

  • AD: 62 >>> 64
  • Movement speed: 325 >>> 330

Caitlyn has nither been a bad ADC nor been an overpowered champion in Season 10. Her win rate is pretty much stable with 50% in the Plat+ Elo as well. But her presence in the pro plays in pretty much non-existence, as a result, Riot is planning to give Caitlyn a little bit of strength in patch 10.15.
