Night City just hacked its way into the Outlands, and honestly, it was only a matter of time. Respawn is dropping a full-blown Apex Legends x Cyberpunk crossover, and it is exactly the kind of neon-drenched chaos you would hope for.
We are talking Edgerunners skins, a reworked E-District that looks like it got yanked straight out of 2077, a new Mythic Alternator that talks back to you, and a risky new gameplay loop that can literally turn you into a Cyberpsycho if you push your luck. Here is everything you need to know about the skins, the pricing situation, and when you can jump in.
Apex Legends x Cyberpunk Event Release Date
The Apex Legends x Cyberpunk Event runs from July 14 to August 4, 2026. So, that gives you a solid three-week window to grind out the mode, chase the cosmetics, and mess around with the new Cyberware before it all gets patched out.
A couple of the store timelines run a bit longer than the event itself, which is worth noting so you do not panic-buy on day one. The limited-time Cyberpunk Collection lives in the Store tab from July 14 all the way to August 18. So even after the mode wraps, you still have a chunk of time to grab the store skins.
Wildcard: Night City Legends and the E-District Takeover
The event centers on Wildcard, where the mode gets rebranded as Night City Legends. Cyberware is flooding the streets of E-District, and it completely changes the pace of a match. Fights are faster, positioning gets a lot more aggressive, and there is a genuine risk-reward tension baked into every engagement. Lean on your chrome, and you become terrifying. Lean on it too hard and things go sideways in a hurry.
The map itself gets a serious glow-up. E-District has been reskinned into full Night City mode with towering neon skyboxes, holographic koi drifting overhead, and glitched-out signage plastered everywhere. It is a proper takeover for the duration of the event in Wildcard, and it sets the vibe perfectly.
New Cyberware Mods: Sandevistan and Blackwall Breach
You get to chrome up with two new Cyberware mods, and you pick one to build your playstyle around. The first is Sandevistan, which grants quick dashes in any direction that recharge your shields on use. You can chain two dashes before you touch the ground, which is perfect for closing gaps on a squishy target or ghosting out of a fight that has gone bad.
The second is Blackwall Breach, which is the more tactical option. It lets you phase into the Net to reposition, then unleash a disruptive EMP that cracks enemy shields and tracks their location. If you like starting fights with an information advantage, that is your pick.
Cyberpsychosis: The Risk Behind the Power
Every time you use Cyberware, your Cyberware Capacity climbs. Hit your limit, and you go full Cyberpsycho, which turns you into a high-speed melee monster. Sounds cool until you realize what you give up. In that state, you get massive movement speed and devastating melee damage, but you lose your weapons, your abilities, your shields, and your ordnance. You basically become a glass cannon with fists.
If you want to walk that back, you have options. Immunoblocker Syringes are scattered across the map to bring your meter down, and Immunoblocker Caches wipe your Cyberware Capacity clean entirely. Managing that meter is really the whole game here, so knowing when to cash in your syringes is what separates the good runs from the ones that end with you punching air.
All Apex Legends x Cyberpunk Skins
This is the part most of you scrolled down for, so let us get into the full cosmetic haul.
Legend Skins
The event brings 8 preem Legend Skins spread across the roster. The lineup covers Axle, Sparrow, Lifeline, Crypto, Rampart, Loba, Ash, and Gibraltar.
Weapon Skins
On the gun side, there are 8 Weapon Skins joining the party. Fresh iron is landing for the Wingman, Charge Rifle, Mastiff, L-STAR, P2020, RE-45, R-301, and the Kraber. Covering both the R-301 and the Wingman means two of the most-used guns in the game are getting Night City makeovers, which is a smart call.
Mythic Skippy Alternator
The main highlight cosmetic is the Mythic Skippy Alternator, and it is a direct nod to one of the most memorable pieces of gear in Cyberpunk 2077. You can activate either Puppy Loving Pacifist or Stone Cold Killer mode, and Skippy will happily narrate exactly what kind of monster you are as you play. You can also upgrade Skippy using Exotic Shards to unlock new visuals, ordnance skins, and knock effects, so there is a progression hook layered into the Mythic itself.
Cyberpunk Collection: The Edgerunners Skins
Now for the ones the Edgerunners fans have been waiting on. The limited-time Cyberpunk Collection drops a set of character-inspired skins in the Store tab, and the crossover casting is genuinely great here. Sparrow gets a David skin, Axle gets a Lucy skin, Rampart gets a Rebecca skin, Gibraltar gets a Royce skin, Ash gets a Lizzy Wizzy skin, and Loba gets a Panam skin.
If you watched Cyberpunk Edgerunners, then that lineup basically reads like a greatest-hits list, and seeing Lucy mapped onto Axle and David onto Sparrow is the kind of detail that shows someone on the team actually cares. The Cyberpunk Collection is available from July 14 to August 18.
Reward Shop and Eddies
Not everything here costs real money. You can earn Eddies throughout the event and spend them in the Reward Shop, which is stocked with some solid free-track value. Highlights include an Arasaka Flight Protocol Epic Valkyrie Skin and a Kang-Tao Specter Epic Mirage Skin, along with event packs, crafting metals, battle pass stars, and more sprinkled across the weekly challenges. If you are the type who grinds for cosmetics without touching your wallet, this is where your time goes.
Apex Legends x Cyberpunk Event Price
As of the official reveal, EA has not published the exact Apex Coin costs for the event skins, the Mythic Skippy Alternator, or the Cyberpunk Collection bundles. The announcement confirms what is coming and when, but it does not attach hard numbers to any of it, so anyone quoting you a precise price right now is guessing.
Limited-Edition Nessie Youtooz Plushies
Especially for the collectors, there is a physical drop too. Respawn has teamed up with Youtooz on two Nessie plushes inspired by Lucy and Rebecca, which is an adorable mashup of Apex’s iconic loch monster and the Edgerunners cast. Both plushes go up for pre-order online from July 15 until August 18, and offers can vary by region, so check the official Apex Legends shop or Youtooz directly for the finer details.
Patch Notes and Bug Fixes
Here are some updates and fixes from our most recent patches:
- Changed Wildcard map rotations to 90 minutes, in response to community feedback
Dev note: We are making this change to align with community desires and may test variations in rotation timing in future, all in pursuit of finding what players enjoy most.
- We have reduced Bot Royale Evolved lobbies to contain only one player squad with broad teammate matchmaking bands
Dev note: Since Bot Royale evolved we’ve seen frustration around two prominent pain points: long queue times, and wide skill disparity between squads – both stemming from the 1-5 team lobby parameter. This change should allow players to get into matches much quicker and with less frustration towards your opponents. As such, Bot Royale Evolved should better align with its design intention of being a mode for learning, warmup, practice, and casual play.
Fixes for various crashes, improving overall stability.
Resolved the issue causing stuttering when wiping a squad for players playing on the EA App. (The fix requires the latest version of the EA App)
Unprompted Mirage voicelines have been stopped.
Resolved an issue where some players lost control of the Legend upon landing from a dropship.
Resolved issues resulting in FPS drops on specific CPUs, continuing to monitor and improve performance.
