Threat Level will be the first event of Season 17. Let’s see what surprises are waiting for in the new event.

Apex Legends releases new events throughout the seasons to push new content and keep the game interesting to the general player base. These events bring new skins, limited-time game modes, balance changes, and more.

In Season 16, Apex Legends experienced the highest number of Collection Events released into the game. It made sense as Season 16 was catered to attract more new players. However, it looks like, Season 17 won’t introduce that many Collection Events like Season 16.

Instead, Respawn will introduce regular store events where they’ll release new cosmetic items, LTMs, and more. And the data miners have already found out the next event to be released very soon with the title “Threat Level” coming to the game very soon.

The event will be really similar to the Collection Events, except for the fact that there’ll be no Heirloom or Prestige skin featured in this event. Respawn could’ve thrown in a recolor version of a Reactive skin as a Collection Event reward. However, Respawn gave a hard pass on this idea after receiving negative backlash during the Celestial Sunrise Collection Event, where they featured the Jadeite Retribution Peacekeeper skin.

Nonetheless, Season 17’s first event is expected to be special. So, without further ado, let’s see what we can expect from the event based on the leaked information we’ve got right now.
