Respawn finally revealed its gameplay trailer for season 7 of Apex Legends. And the trailer showcases that the R99 is getting the premium battle pass skin treatment for this season.

Just like every new season, Respawn usually gives one weapon the premium battle pass treatment. Usually, that means, this particular gun will get two legendary reactive skins that are only available if you have the battle pass.

At the same time, Respawn would only give the premium battle pass treatment to those weapons that are normally available in the normal loot pool, not the ones generally found in the airdrops. Therefore, there is a good chance that Respawn might bring back the R99 to the normal loot pool.
