Apex Legends Season 30: Marked has shaken up the Legend meta with a major Bloodhound rework, meaningful buffs for Loba and Rampart, and targeted nerfs aimed at Valkyrie, Axle, and Seer. This tier list ranks every Legend based on their projected strength, pick rate in Ranked matches, as well as their effectiveness following the launch update.

Bloodhound received the biggest update of the season. Their improved tracking, extended Tactical scans, and new Allfatherโ€™s Cloak Ultimate provide information, movement speed, threat vision, and temporary camouflage. These changes transform Bloodhound from one of the least-used high-rank Legends into a powerful option for coordinated pushes and escapes.

Loba also benefits heavily from the reduced availability of high-tier loot. Her bracelet now travels farther and faster, while Black Marketโ€™s cooldown has dropped from 150 to 120 seconds. Rampartโ€™s stronger and faster-deploying walls make her more reliable, while Valkyrie, Axle, and Seer remain useful despite receiving reductions to some of their strongest abilities.

Apex Legends Season 30 Legend Tier List

The rankings may change as players discover new compositions and Respawn releases additional balance updates. We will update this tier list if the meta shifts.

S Tier: The Best Legends in Season 30

S-tier Legends provide exceptional value in several areas and fit easily into most team compositions.

Bloodhound is the standout winner of the update. Allfatherโ€™s Cloak creates opportunities for ambushes, rotations, revives, and escapes, while the refreshed Tactical provides more consistent enemy tracking.

Loba becomes extremely valuable because Season 30 reduces the overall quality of ground loot. Her faster bracelet and shorter Black Market cooldown help squads secure attachments, healing items, and ammunition without exposing themselves.

Alter, Conduit, and Bangalore remain dependable because they offer strong repositioning, survivability, and team utility. Axleโ€™s Tactical and Ultimate are less forgiving, but her team-wide movement remains strong enough to keep her near the top.

A Tier: Powerful Meta Picks

A-tier Legends can dominate matches but are slightly more dependent on team composition, player skill, or specific situations.

Valkyrie, Seer, and Axle were all weakened, but their core utility remains effective. Pathfinder and Octane continue to offer excellent mobility, while Mad Maggie and Fuse provide reliable pressure against defensive teams.

Rampart moves into A tier following improvements to her walls and Sheila movement. She is now faster to set up and considerably harder to punish during early and mid-game fights.

B Tier: Strong but Situational Legends

B-tier Legends are viable in Ranked but usually need the right playstyle or team composition.

Gibraltar, Newcastle, Wattson, and Caustic are effective when holding positions, while Revenant, Horizon, Wraith, and Ash favour aggressive players. These Legends can still win games, but they provide less consistent value than the top-tier choices.

C Tier: Limited Meta Value

Mirage remains useful for confusing opponents and recovering teammates, but his abilities become less reliable against coordinated squads.

Catalyst can control buildings and delay pushes, although her kit currently offers fewer advantages than the stronger defensive and rotational Legends available in Season 30.

Who Is the Best Legend in Apex Legends Season 30?

Bloodhound is the best Legend to watch at the beginning of Season 30. The new combination of tracking, repeated scans, camouflage, threat vision, and movement speed gives their squad several ways to initiate fights or survive dangerous situations.

Loba is a close second, especially for Ranked players who want consistent equipment and resources throughout a match. Her value should increase considerably under Season 30โ€™s more restrictive loot system.
