Here’s an early glimpse at the upcoming Season 21 changes.
Apex Legends is setting its foot into the next chapter with the Season 21 update. The update will bring many changes, including the most-awaited Broken Moon rework, a new legend named Alter, weapon and legend buffs/nerfs, and more.
Although Respawn hasn’t published the official patch notes yet, leakers and other sources have revealed most of the changes coming to the game. So, without stretching it any further, let’s take a look at the Season 21 early patch notes:
All Season 21 Changes
New Legend: Alter
Alter is Apex’s new Skirmisher Legend. Alter’s real name is YingLing Lui. Other information about Alter, such as Age and Home World, are unknown.
Here are Alter’s abilities:
- Void Passage (Tactical): Alter fires a void blast from her tail that shatters against a surface to open a dimensional gateway through from one side to the other for a short time. Crossing through the portal is instantaneous and can be done from either direction, but travelers will remain phased briefly after exiting.
- The angle of this shot determines what surface the exit will open on and can be used to open passages through ceilings and ledges, allowing Alter to place her passages creatively through the environment.
- Gift from the Rift (Passive): Alter can see and remotely interact with nearby death boxes to claim a single item. While she cannot take shield cores through the void, any other prize can be snatched from afar.
- Void Nexus (Ultimate): Alter can deploy a Void Nexus that allies can remotely interact with to open a phase tunnel back to that point. When a tunnel is opened, that player will phase walk from their location to the Void Nexus and leave behind a portal that any player can follow through. The Nexus can be used even while downed, and it is an incredible way for Alter and her squad to regroup to a position of power for a reset, provided interlopers do not pursue…
More information about Alter is here.
Solos is Back
- Solos mode will replace Duos with the launch of Season 21. It will be a modified version of the original Solos game mode. The new Solos will have a modified ring, loot pool, and health generation so you can fight and survive on your own.
- Also, Solos will have a new feature called Respawn Token. Every player will start with Respawn Token. Upon dying, players can use this token to Respawn.
- Lastly, the modified Solos will have another new feature called Battle Sense. When an enemy is nearby, you will get a warning so you can immediately get ready to fight.
Solos will stay in Apex Legends from May 7, 2024 to June 24, 2024. You can find more information about Solos in here.
