Blizzard has officially pulled back the curtain on its latest Diablo crossover for Overwatch, and this one looks far darker than most fans probably expected. Under the name Overwatch x Hatred’s Reckoning, the event brings five brand new Legendary skins inspired by Diablo classes and characters, alongside the return of four older crossover cosmetics. The whole event is set to run from April 28 to May 18.
The new lineup feels like Blizzard went all in on the fantasy side of both universes. Instead of making these skins feel like simple dress-up cosmetics, each one seems built around a very specific Diablo identity. That is what makes this crossover stand out right away.
Overwatch x Diablo Skins Confirmed
Blizzard confirmed five new Legendary skins for the crossover. They are Mephisto Ramattra, Paladin Brigitte, Rogue Freja, Warlock Lifeweaver, and Druid Mauga. The official blog also confirmed that four older skins from the original Diablo event are coming back, including Inarius Pharah, Lilith Moira, Imperius Reinhardt, and Gilded Hunter Sombra.
It is a full Diablo-themed cosmetic drop with both new content and returning fan favorites.
Mephisto Ramattra Is the Clear Headliner

Out of all the newly revealed skins, Mephisto Ramattra is easily the one grabbing the most attention. Blizzard describes it as Ramattra taking on the role of Mephisto, the Lord of Hatred, and the design absolutely leans into that demonic look. In the official reveal, Ramattra appears covered in massive infernal armor with glowing red accents, horned features, and a fiery presence that makes him look more like a raid boss than a tank hero.
Paladin Brigitte Brings the Holy Warrior Fantasy

Paladin Brigitte takes a completely different direction. Instead of going full horror, this skin embraces the bright, faith-driven side of Diablo. Blizzard describes Brigitte as someone who “holds the line by the light,” and the reveal image backs that up with silver armor, gold details, and a clean holy knight look.
Rogue Freja Looks Fast, Stylish, and Deadly

Freja’s new Rogue skin seems built for players who like sleek designs over bulky armor. Blizzard says the character “stalks through the shadows,” and the first look image gives her a sharp, agile appearance with a dark red color palette and a hunter style vibe.
Warlock Lifeweaver Has One of the Boldest Designs

Warlock Lifeweaver is probably the most unexpected skin in the entire set. Blizzard describes it as a look shaped by “power and sacrifice,” and visually, it has a much darker and more corrupted tone than Lifeweaver’s usual cosmetics. In the reveal image, the skin swaps elegance for menace, with crimson effects and a far more sinister overall presentation.
Druid Mauga Might Be the Biggest Surprise

Druid Mauga may be the most unusual concept in the crossover, but it works better than expected. Blizzard says the skin has Mauga calling on the natural world with relentless ferocity, and the first look image shows a hulking, beastlike version of the hero with glowing blue accents and a primal fantasy feel.
Overwatch x Diablo Release Date
The official release date for Overwatch x Hatred’s Reckoning is April 28, 2026, and Blizzard says the event will stay live until May 18, 2026. That gives players a limited window to pick up the new cosmetics and revisit the returning Diablo event content.
Blizzard also confirmed that the event will bring back the original challenge rewards and add Twitch Drops running from April 14 to May 10, including the Wolf Pup Weapon Charm after one hour watched and the Sword Weapon Charm after two hours.
Overwatch x Diablo Price
Right now, Blizzard has confirmed that all of the collab skins will be available both in bundles and individually, but it has not announced exact Overwatch Coin prices in the official event post.
So at the time of writing, players can safely expect the new skins to be sold through the shop in multiple purchase options, but the final pricing breakdown for each bundle or standalone skin is still unconfirmed. Until Blizzard updates the in-game shop or publishes pricing details, that part remains up in the air.
This might be one of Overwatch’s strongest crossover batches in a while. Mephisto Ramattra feels like the obvious star, but the rest of the lineup does a good job of giving each hero a distinct Diablo class fantasy instead of just recycling the same dark armor idea five times. Paladin Brigitte looks noble, Rogue Freja looks agile, Warlock Lifeweaver looks sinister, and Druid Mauga feels wild and unexpected.
If Blizzard lands the pricing in a reasonable spot, this could end up being one of the more popular cosmetic events of the season.
