Here are the locations of all the onions that you can find in Pikmin 4.
Pikmin 4 allows the players to set off on a journey to a mysterious planet. To strengthen their teams, the players will have to keep on adding more Pikmin to the team by collecting more Onions. The Onions act as a nest for Pikmin, which produces Pikmin seeds, and then the Pikmin seeds produce new Pikmin.
Each type of Onion has a different color, and the Pikmin produced from the Onions will be the same type as the color of the Onion. In Pikmin 4, there are eight types of Onion: Red, Yellow, Blue, Ice, Rock, Pink, White, and Purple. However, unlocking each Onion will require the players to reach certain portions of the map and perform several tasks.

All Onions Location and How To Unlock Them
As mentioned earlier, there are eight types of Onions in the game. There is one Red Onion, Two Yellow Onions, Two Blue Onions, One Ice, Rock, Pink, White, and Purple Onions. The players will start with the default Red Onion and will slowly have to unlock more types of Onion as they progress through the story of the game. To unlock all types of Pikmin in the game, it is important to unlock all the Onions. After each Onion is unlocked, the players will have to carry the Onion back to their nearest base.

| Ice | Frozen Inferno | Scorch Guard yourself and Oatchi in Frozen Inferno, and then freeze Hydro Jelly with Ice Pikmin. |
| Rock | Giant’s Hearth | Rescue Olimar and complete the story. Then go to the location, and destroy the wall using Bomb Rocks. Collect the Onion after defeating the enemies. |
| Pink | Primordial Thicket | Rescue Olimar and complete the Dandori Battle with Louie. Follow the road on the hill, and use White Pikmin to remove the Poison Geysers. |
