In Chapter 1 of Black Myth: Wukong, you can easily unlock three spells. These spells are much simpler to find compared to later chapters.
Black Myth: Wukong offers many spells that enhance gameplay. These spells can be used to defeat enemies, escape tight spots, or avoid unnecessary combat. In Chapter 1, you can unlock three spells: Immobilize, Cloud Step, and Red Tides. The spells in this chapter are easy to obtain, so let’s explore how to get them.

Chapter 1 Spells Locations in Black Myth: Wukong
Here are the three spells you can get in Chapter 1:
Immobilize Spell
You get this spell in the very beginning of the game. First, you need to beat the first story boss. When you defeat it, you will get the spell from The Keeper of Secret.
Cloud Step Spell
In order to get this spell, you need to defeat the Yaoguai King: Black Wind King. After that, you automatically get the Cloud Step spell.
Red Tides Spell
At Black Wind Mountain, head to the Forest of Wolves. From there, travel to the shrine located just outside the forest.
Once you’re outside, take the path to your north—straight ahead. The first thing you’ll notice is two foes waiting for you; just ignore them. Follow the path until you encounter another foe near the bridge.
Ignore him as well, and cross the bridge however you like. After crossing, take the left path. After a few steps, you’ll come across another foe; again, ignore him.
Continue towards the torch along the path. Once you reach the torch, you’ll find a path on your left leading to a gate. Head in that direction.
After crossing the gate, you’ll encounter the Yaoguai Chief, Guangzhi. Defeat Guangzhi to unlock the Red Tides spell.
Once Guangzhi is defeated, you’ll find his weapon in front of you. Pick it up, and boom—Red Tides spell will unlock.
These are the three spells you can unlock in Chapter 1. I recommend getting them as soon as possible, as Chapter 2 is filled with enemies you won’t be able to defeat without these spells.
