Did you know some of the hairstyles in Palworld were inspired by some popular anime characters?
The fragments in the entertainment industry are slowly dissolving into one big one. It is much more common in the video gaming and film industries. Anime adaptations like Arcane and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners are two of the major examples. The opposite case is also true when cartoons, popular shows/ movies, or animes inspire video games to make exciting content.
Most of these video game adaptations are supported by the same companies that are responsible for a specific franchise. However, to make the community happy, video game developers sometimes sneak in anime references without directly collaborating with them.
This strategy also applies to Palworld. The developers of Pocketpair took inspiration from anime and other video games and nicely implemented them into their game. You can start noticing it when you hop onto the character creation menu.
