Remedy Entertainment announced the revised PC system requirements for Alan Wake 2.

Alan Wake 2 is a survival horror video game developed by Remedy Entertainment and published by Epic Games. The game is a sequel to 2010’s Alan Wake, and the story follows best-selling novelist Alan Wake, who had been trapped in an alternate dimension for 13 years and trying to escape by writing a horror story involving an FBI special agent named Saga Anderson.

Alan Wake 2 was released for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on October 27, 2023. The game received critical acclaim and was nominated for multiple Game of the Year awards. As of February 2024, Alan Wake 2 sold more than 1.3 million units, making it the fastest-selling game for Remedy.

In the patch 1.0.16.1 update for PC, Remedy announced changes to the game’s minimum PC system requirements for lower specs. The game’s GPU minimum requirements were changed, and with the new changes, players can now play Alan Wake 2 at 30 FPS at 1080p resolution.
