2XKO - Ranked System and Tiers Leaked

As the alpha test for Riot’s fighting game, 2XKO concludes, many upcoming systems including the Ranked system got leaked.

Fighting games are one of the most popular genres in gaming. Even so, in modern times, it is not as popular of a genre as FPS or MOBA. However, in recent times after the release of Street Fighter 6 and Tekken 8, these types of games are more popular than ever. With that said, Riot Games, the creator of games like League of Legends and Valorant is also developing its own fighting game called 2XKO.

2XKO is a 2v2 tag-team fighting game similar to MvC, or Dragon Ball FighterZ. This game is based on their already popular MOBA game, League of Legends. And similar to League of Legends, 2XKO will also be free to play.

Till now, we have covered 2XKO’s teamplay system, fuse system, and basic gameplay mechanics. Moreover, a couple of weeks ago, we even got to try out the alpha version of the game. Even though it was only out for a select number of regions, the test was overall a success.

During this test, many players started to data mine the game. From this data mine, they found many interesting things like skins, stages, and even the names and icons of all of the ranked tiers.

Do note that they were data mined from the alpha test. Therefore, they might be very different when the game is officially released.

Judging from their names, they are very similar to the current League of Legends ranks. Moreover, the Aspirant rank here will be given to all unranked players. And the ranked icons symbolize various creatures in the Runeterra universe. It starts with a scuttlecrab in iron and ends with Baron Nashor as the challenger rank. The rank icons look amazing and it makes me wish that there was a 3D rendition in-game as it would look very cool.
