Fortnite’s second Bleach crossover is officially taking shape, and Yoruichi Shihōin is finally joining the battle royale. Epic Games has revealed the first in-game footage of the highly requested character, showing how the former Soul Reaper captain will look when she arrives in the Fortnite Item Shop.

Yoruichi’s Fortnite design is inspired by her appearance in Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War. The cel-shaded skin features her black sleeveless combat outfit, long dark hair, golden eyes, thigh-high boots, and cat-like accessories.
The reveal footage also shows Yoruichi surrounded by glowing golden lightning orbs. The reveal trailer appears to reference her lightning-based Shunkō abilities and gives the skin a much more distinctive presentation than a standard anime crossover outfit.
Fortnite has generally done a strong job translating anime characters into its visual style, and Yoruichi looks immediately recognizable without feeling out of place beside the game’s existing Bleach skins.
Yoruichi will not arrive alone. Bleach Wave 2 also introduces Kisuke Urahara, expanding the collaboration beyond the original lineup of Ichigo Kurosaki, Rukia Kuchiki, Orihime Inoue and Uryū Ishida.
The reveal confirms both characters through their in-game models, with additional themed cosmetics expected to accompany them. Reports indicate Yoruichi will receive related accessories and an emote, although Epic Games has not yet officially announced the individual prices or complete bundle details.
Yoruichi Fortnite Skin Release Date
The Yoruichi Fortnite skin is scheduled to enter the Item Shop on August 7, 2026, at 5 PM PT or 8 PM ET. Due to time-zone differences, the crossover will become available on August 8 in the United Kingdom, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
Epic Games has not confirmed how long Bleach Wave 2 will remain available, so players interested in Yoruichi may want to check the Item Shop shortly after the scheduled refresh.
