All Monster Types in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

Learn all about the monsters you need to slay in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 has quickly overtaken its successor, its prequel. Needless to say, the overall improvement of the storyline, the graphical content, and whatnot was made to improve to match up with the quality that the recent RPGs are carrying. On top of that, it’s a JRPG. This means the Land of the Rising Sun knows how to maintain quality in everything.

Anyway, as we already have spent some notable hours in the game, we might think, what else are we expecting? How about the monsters? How many and what kinds are lurking in the wretched dominion?

Needless to say, we have already encountered quite a lot. On top of that, we might have missed their types and what categories they fall into. In this guide, we will try to explain all you need to know about the monsters in Xenoblade Chronicles 3.

All Monster Types in Xenoblade Chronicles 3

We will see or we already might have seen these monsters. There are total of 4 types you will find in the Netherland. All of them have special traits about them. Say, their colors, their outlook, especially the cue above their head; these are quite hard to pass by. Well, needless to say, these details did pass me by. Let’s not focus there.

Each of them is ready to offer you different rewards. These rewards are quite high and that totally depends on the types of the monsters. The more you play with them, get to know each other a little bit, maybe not fall into some kind of feelings, well apart from that, you will get most of the idea on how to slay them. So, without further ado, let’s hop into these threats that we have faced or are about to face.

the Normal beings

These beings are normal. Nothing special about them, just normal beings. They are the regular office workers that have the regular nameplate. Not shiny, but they work here. Well, on top of that, they are quite handy to farm various resources. Needless to say, you will encounter them most of the time.

If you don’t feel like getting embarrassed in front of them, you just need to be on their level. Not like you will have a hard time if you are one or two levels below, just in case, if you do not want to feel embarrassed. Well, no hard feelings to be on the same level, right?

On top of that, you have another option. If you feel like you will be wasting time with them, you can just turn on the Auto mode.

the Lucky club

If you are feeling lucky, you might get new visitors. Well, truth to be told, they are just the regular monsters that we already talked about. The only difference is, who gives off the better reward. As the name gives away, you are going to have a good bounty from them.

How would you identify? Just look at the nameplates again. Do they shine? If not, they are the regular workers. Do they shine bright like a diamond? Drop anything you are doing at once, chase them, slay them, loot’em. Remember what Zakharov said in CODMW3, No Lucky Monsters.

the Elite society

Taller, better, faster, stronger! They will give you one of the hardest times after the one that we will be talking about very shortly. Their increased stats in almost all aspects will ensure that your sweats have traveled from the head to the bottom.

Say you feel like picking a fight with these bad boys. At the very least, consider yourself at the same level as them. Otherwise, it will be; I came, I saw, I repeat. Needless to say, slaying them will give you worthwhile rewards. But you do need to slay them first, right?

You can easily identify these big guys by their nameplates. These elite office workers have a special badge on their nameplate, that sort of looks like a blue wing. However, there is a catch. These bad boys tend to hide themselves in the regular office workers. They love to make surprise appearances. Such an elite thing to do!

be Unique!

The toughest one in the field till now. Needless to say, these are the worthy ones to call “Boss.” You need time; you need effort, you need patience; you need everything in your pocket to survive the wave. Their health bar is enormous. So, plan your dinner.

Again, needless to say, the better the monster, the better their pocket. You will find a variety of these monsters. The good news is, there’s only one of them from each variety. The bad news is that each of their impacts is devastating. But the XP and the loot are worthwhile.

There is an extra catch. Each time you slay a unique monster, their grave will appear right where they felt death. And you, however, can wake them up any time you want for a rematch. Don’t let them live, don’t let them die.

You can easily identify Unique monsters by their unique nameplate in Xenoblade Chronicles, which seems golden to me. My eyes might lie to me, but you may see red and orange.
