Riot has unveiled the upcoming champion who will receive a prestige skin, Winterblessed Camille.
Since the release of League of Legends, we have seen skins that are based on various real-life events. One such event is Winter.
During the winter holidays, Riot has released many winter-themed skins. In the first year of League of Legends in 2009, we got some of the first winter-themed skins. Some of them are Snowbunny Nidalee, Earnest Elf Tristana, Old Saint Zilean, etc. Since then and till the release of Sugar Rush skins in 2019, we have received winter skins every year. But for two years afterward, we did not get any winter-themed skins.
However, after the long hiatus, in 2022, Riot released the newest winter skin line, Winterblessed. This skin line featured skins like Winterblessed Diana, Winterblessed Zoe, Winterblessed Swain, etc. Moreover, Winterblessed Diana is still regarded as Diana’s best skin.
As it’s been more than a year after its release, Riot has revealed the second iteration of the Winterblessed skins. Including the prestige skin, this time, there are a total of 9 Winterblessed skins. The skin that will receive a prestige edition is Winterblessed Camille.
Released in 2016, Camille is one of the most popular top lane champions in terms of playmaking. Regardless of her current state in the meta, she gets picked regularly in both pro play and solo queue.
Even though she is a popular champion, Camille only has 5 skins. With Winterblessed, she will receive her first prestige skin.
Since it is a new skin, Winterblessed Camille offers some of the best VFX out of any Camille skin. Not only that, it also has good gameplay clarity as iG Camille. Overall, it is a good skin if you don’t own any other Camille skins.
