God of War: Ragnarok starts a few years after the last game. In the last game, we battled Baldur and defeated him. Thus the Fimbulwinter started. This game starts in the middle of Fimbulwinter and concludes with Ragnarok. But it tells its own tale of Ragnarok and doesn’t follow the mythology too close.
