Everything you need to know about League of Legends: Wild Rift’s new Masters of the Hunt event.
Two of the most deadliest predator Kha’zix and Rengar have finally made their way into the Wild Rift. And according to the Riot’s event blog, Rengar overcame his diminutive stature through incredible hardship to become chieftain, only to discard the title in pursuit of the hunt. On the other hand, Kha’Zix consumed all in its path, assimilating the power of its quarry to evolve into a ruthless killing machine.
Now, only one predator will rule the rift through an epic battle. And to start that, you will get to decide which side you wanna pick and you will be rewarded based on your selected nemesis.
Dates
The Masters of the Hunt is going to start on May 6th, 2021 / 01:00 UTC, and the event will end on May 18th, 2021 / 23:59 UTC. The whole event will wrap up on May 25th, 2021 / 23:59 UTC.

Nemesis Duel
According to Riot Games, Nemesis Duel is a special mechanic that sometimes activates when two champions with long-standing grudges face each other in Wild Rift. It’s an opportunity for players to earn a substantial in-game bonus by settling the out-of-game score.
How to start Nemesis Duel?
Just having the two related champions on opposite teams in a game does not guarantee a Nemesis Duel will occur. Here’s how to trigger it:
- Both champions are alive and fairly high level
- Neither have taken or dealt damage for a short time
- The two champions are at least a short distance apart
Once all the requirements are achieved, lucky players will see an in-game display informing them that the hunt is on!
Rewards for Nemesis Duel
If Rengar proves he’s king of the jungle, he’ll automatically gain Ferocity during his ultimate—Thrill of the Hunt.
If Kha’Zix emerges as the apex predator, he unlocks an extra evolution point.
