The timing also caught the attention of DC fans, as the video appeared around the release of a new episode of HBO’s Lanterns.

The video puts Trump in possession of Green Lantern’s iconic power ring. One sequence shows green energy forming a massive wall across a desert with people standing on the opposite side. The White House accompanied the video with the famous Green Lantern Corps oath:
“In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight. Let those who worship evil’s might beware my power… Green Lantern’s light!”
The timing makes the post particularly notable for comic book fans. Lanterns Episode 4 aired on HBO and HBO Max on September 6, with the White House video appearing around the same period. However, the post itself does not mention HBO, DC Studios, or Warner Bros. Discovery, so there is currently no indication of an official connection.
