Unlike other regions, we didn’t get Pyro Traveler upon Natlan’s release. So, when will we get Pyto Traveler?
Traveler is the only character that changes his/her element based on the region we are traveling. So, almost everyone was expecting Pyro Traveler to be playable when 5.0 was introduced. But to our surprise, we didn’t get pyro infusion upon touching Natlan’s statue of seven.
So, now the question arises, when will we get Pyro Traveler? – that’s what I will discuss in this article. Keep in mind these aren’t official information from Hoyoverse but some of the info is from current in-game materials. Therefore, take everything with a grain of salt.
Pyro Traveler’s Release
According to multiple leads and my personal calculation, I believe Pyro Traveler will become playable along with the Pyro Archon. If you followed our upcoming Genshin characters 5.1 to 5.4, you know that Mavuika is coming in 5.3.
I think 5.3 will be the ideal time to release the Pyro vision based abilities for Traveler. Natlan’s archon system is a bit different and Xbalanque might make a return along with us getting the Traveler finally getting the powers of Pyro. A popular claim is that he will get the Pyro genesis and obtain the powers.
Upgrades for players in their Pyro state are already in the game. If you look into the tribe reputation rewards you will find 5-star items that aren’t currently usable. I strongly believe they will be used to upgrade Traveler’s kit.
The blazing flint ore is likely to be sued for constellation and others for ascension upgrades. There are still no proper updates regarding the gameplay mechanics of the Traveler with their Pyro infused vision. That being said, I am hoping for him to get some sort of traversal abilities like all the other characters from Natlan.
Most of the time Traveler’s kit shares some sort of similarities with the region’s archon or sovereign. So if that is the case then they will have traversal effects like Mavuika’s bike. Their elemental skill should offer a powerful nuke. If that is the case then he might be a strong DPS unit to consider.
