Call of Duty Warzone 2.0 has finally moved to Season 2 following a shaky Season 1. Warzone 2.0 has received appreciation from fans, however, many issues have plagued the game, ruining the player experience.
Warzone 2.0 Season 2 came out on February 15, fixing many issues players were concerned about. Furthermore, Season 2 also introduced new content to the game, including a new battle pass, five new weapons, and a Resurgence map.

Everything We Know About Season 3
Ranked Play
The developers have mentioned that they aim to add a Ranked Play mode in Warzone 2.0 during the CoD Next in June. IW’s Stephanie Snowden stated while discussing Warzone 2.0, “We’ve been listening to the conversations in the community, specifically about small maps, RICOCHET anti-cheat, Ranked Play, and beyond.”
Warzone 2.0’s Ranked Play might follow the blueprint of Iron Trials and Titanium Trials. Both game modes feature an increased health pool increasing TTK by a large margin. The buy station items are expensive, especially the loadout drop. However, the prices keep dropping as the circle keeps shrinking.
Warzone 2.0’s Rank system will be similar to MW2 Ranked Play. The ranks start from Bronze and end at Iridescent. However, the standings and SR system will calculate individual player kills, identical to the World Series of Warzone.
Plunder
Warzone 1’s arcade BR mode Plunder is returning with the Season 3 update. Plunder is a game mode where the team with the most money emerges as the winner. It is a casual game mode that found a niche fan base, and its promising capability has led the devs to add it to Warzone 2.0.
Release Date
Warzone 2.0 Season 2 is expected to end on April 17, 2023. So, players can expect Season 3 updates to roll out the same day. We’ll update the exact date as soon as official announcements are made.
