Call of Duty: Warzone’s Season 5 is the next major update. Massive changes are underway, with tons of new content, and here’s everything we know about season 5.
Season 5 of Call of Duty: Vanguard is almost here. It will be available for players as soon as Mercenaries of Fortune is over. The new update will bring forth a series of updates throughout the season.
The new update will bring a new battle pass, new weapons, new features, game modes, and bundles. Players worldwide can’t wait for the new season as MW2’s release date is on the horizon. Only time can tell what Raven Software has in store for hardcore CoD enthusiasts.

Everything We Know so Far about Season 5
A Brand New Battle Pass
A brand new battle pass is underway with new legendary skins, free COD points, weapon blueprints, and most importantly, two new weapon additions coming in at the 15th and 30th tier. The new weapons might be an AR and a Marksman Rifle, but that is just speculation as no relevant information about the guns has not been revealed yet.
New Maps
Players can expect at least two multiplayer maps throughout the season. The new maps will not be available in the first few weeks of the game. Instead, they will be added in the quarterly update that will arrive before the Season 5 reloaded update.
New Weapons
As this is the last season for Warzone, it is not a surprise that Raven Software will introduce five new weapons. They will be unlockable through challenges and the battle pass. Here are the five new weapons coming to Warzone:
- EX1 Energy Rifle (Launch)
- RA 225 SMG (Launch)
- Valois Revolver (Launch Window)
- BP50 Assault Rifle (Midseason)
- Lienna 57 Assault Rifle (Midseason)
Caldera Changes
Caldera will receive two major changes to its POIs. The first change is a volcanic eruption originating from the middle of Peak. The second one is the change of the Gulag for the last time, it will be revamped to an older version of the showers from Verdansk.
Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Season 5 Release Date
The release date has not been confirmed, but the date is about two weeks from now, which is August 24, 2022. The new contents and battle pass will arrive with the update. We’ll post the updates as soon as they are released.
