Simulated Universe is a weekly game mode that challenges you to a series of combats. Here is a detailed guide to understanding how Simulated Universe works in Honkai: Star Rail.
Honkai: Star Rail is a role-playing Gacha video game developed by HoYoverse, the same developers behind Genshin Impact and Honkai Impact 3rd. Like other HoYoverse games, players can challenge themselves in Honkai: Star Rail against the toughest opponents. Simulated Universe is one of the two combat-based challenges in Star Rail, where players must fight through a series of stages until they face the final boss to get good rewards.
Created by Herta, Simulated Universe is one of the two endgame content in Honkai: Star Rail, where you can create a party of four characters and challenge different stages. Players will get rare rewards after completing a stage of Simulated Universe to gear up their characters. Here is a detailed guide on the Simulated Universe in Honkai: Star Rail.
What is the Simulated Universe in Honkai: Star Rail
Simulated Universe is a roguelike game mode in Honkai: Star Rail, where players challenge enemies in an enclosed world with a party of four characters. The goal is to clear every stage by defeating the bosses at the end of the enclosed World for high-tier rewards, such as Relics, Stellar Jades, and materials for higher rarity Light Cones.
This game mode will unlock after players finish a side quest given by Herta after completing the tutorial mission. The Simulated Universe can be located at the Master Control Zone in Herta’s Space Station. It resets every week on Monday, and players can get good rewards for participating and completing the challenges.
Worlds in Simulated Universe
In Honkai: Star Rail, the Simulated Universe is divided into different stages called Worlds. Each World is a set of randomized settings that range from combat to revival areas to random interaction event stages, and there would be a boss at the end of each World.
There are a total of 8 worlds in the Simulated Universe, and players need to complete the worlds in a sequential order. After completing Worlds 1 and 2, each World will have multiple difficulty levels that will unlock as the player’s Trailblazer Level increases.
Every time players defeat an enemy, they can obtain Blessings during a Simulated Universe run. Blessings are one of the two buffs or debuffs available in the Simulated Universe, and they are permanent buffs to your part that can be obtained by winning battles or selecting certain options when inside a Domain.
Blessings and Curios
Players can also find Curios, which are permanent buffs within the Simulated Universe, and you can find multiple Curios while fighting through the World. Curios are unlocked after you gain access to Simulated Universe World 3 and can provide players with permanent combat, non-combat buffs, or even debuffs for your party.
After obtaining one of these two buffs or debuffs, you must face different enemies at each stage to gain more Blessings and Curio to face stronger enemies later. You can claim rewards from the Simulated Universe after defeating bosses at the end of each stage.
After players have completed all the stages in a World, they have to face the final boss, who usually has three phases and will be significantly stronger than other enemies in that World.
After completing a World in the Simulated Universe, players will gain points for completing the stages and defeating all the enemies within the stage. There are rewards based on how many points a player can obtain for completing the Simulated Universe.
