Warzone 2.0 players think carrying multiple Self-Revives is overpowered and should be adjusted in a future patch.

Call of Duty Warzone introduced a new battle royale experience for players worldwide. The BR title featured new in-game features that made it unique from other games. One of the most highlighted features of the game was the self-revive kit available in buy stations and as legendary ground loot.

Warzone 2.0 also features the self-revive kit like most features from its predecessor. However, with the new backpack system, players can stack self-revive kits, whereas previously, it was limited to one. The multiple stacking of self-revive kits is causing controversy as many players in the community are demanding a nerf.

Do Self-Revives require a nerf?

In a recent Reddit thread created by u/NoseniH, the user uploaded a clip where a player in the Warzone 2.0 lobby used three self-revives to win the match. The user asked players in the community, “Does anybody else think this is just stupid? Storing multiple self revives shouldn’t be a thing. You lost the gun fight fair and square why should you be allowed more chances to win?”

The responses to the user’s question were conflicting, however, most players were unhappy with the new feature that allows players to stack multiple self-revives.

However, a few players were completely okay with the new mechanic. Instead, they pointed out how the players did not finish off the player allowing him to use self-revive on three separate occasions.

Another user, Knurly-dege shared a rational response, stating that self-revives are balanced. The user suggested that the multiple self-revive storage feature should be adjusted. However, they also mentioned that storing multiple self-revives is up to the player’s preference, as they can keep other equipment such as ammo, lethal, and kill streaks.

Although self-revives remain balanced as a piece of solo equipment, the multiple storage of self-revives makes it a broken feature. Players can store up to four self-revives, increasing their in-game longevity and winning chances. However, storing multiple self-revives means sacrificing the space for ammo, armor, and other equipment.
