Call of Duty Warzone 1 was one of the most played games worldwide during it’s lifetime. The BR’s resurgence mode was an instant hit amongst content creators, pro players, and the casual player base.
Following its popularity, the game mode also made its way into Warzone 2.0. The player base received the first map, Ashika Island, with open arms. Later on, the second map, Vondel, was also appreciated by the community.
Now, in Season 5, Resurgence fans are getting a new map with a familiar face in the newest Fort Resurgence game mode. Let’s take a look at what’s in store for Resurgence players.

What is Fort Resurgence Game Mode?
Fort Resurgence is a Resurgence or respawn-enabled game mode based on the Al Bagra Fortress POI of the Al Mazrah map.
Fans of the fast-paced Resurgence mode will have a new version of Resurgence to look forward to, in addition to Ashika Island and Vondel remaining as game mode options. This new version, Fort Resurgence, is a Resurgence mode on the smaller Al Bagra Fortress map. Depending on the weekly Playlist offering, the player count will be adjusted to fit Al Bagra.
After months of delay, the game mode has finally been added to the Resurgence playlist for everyone. However, fans have not been happy with the new map, as it feels too crammed with so many players.
