Riot Games has finally revealed their upcoming agent called Waylay, and she is going to be a duelist.
At its core, VALORANT is a tactical shooter with extra skills, which allows players to make game-changing plays if used at the right moment. Adding these abilities makes the game a bit different from its contemporaries such as Counter-Strike 2.
Also, these abilities are agent specific, which means there is depth for players who love to chain the abilities of different agents to create powerful combinations of entry tactics to enter or retake sites from opponents.
The next agent in this title will be a duelist, which means the new agent’s primary role will be to enter the site quickly and clear the way for other agents.
Waylay Abilities:
- Saturate: INSTANTLY throw a cluster of light that explodes upon contact with the ground, HINDERING nearby players with a powerful movement and weapon slow.
- Refract: INSTANTLY create a beacon of light on the floor. REACTIVATE to speed back to your beacon as a mote of pure light. You are invulnerable as you travel.
- Light Speed: EQUIP to prepare for a burst of speed. FIRE to dash forward twice. ALT FIRE to dash once. Only your first dash can send you upward.
- Ultimate: EQUIP to focus your prismatic power. FIRE to create an afterimage of yourself that projects a beam of light. After a brief delay, you gain a powerful speed boost and the beam expands, HINDERING other players in the area.
