With the new Wasteland 2.0 skin bundle, Riot Games is bringing back one of the rugged and beloved skin themes in VALORANT. The original Wasteland set, which came out years ago, was known for its post-apocalyptic, scrapyard-inspired look. Now, Riot is going back to the idea with a new appearance, more weaponry, and better detailing that lovers of gritty, survivalist themes will enjoy.

Wasteland 2.0 Skin Design – First Look

Based on the early preview, Wasteland 2.0 continues the “salvaged weapons” vibe, with every gun looking like it was pieced together from spare parts in a harsh desert wasteland. The skin’s feature:

  • Rusted metals & makeshift repairs: Exposed bolts, rough steel plates, and duct-taped grips give the weapons a scavenger-built feel.
  • Red and blue accents: Pops of red barrels and blue wiring provide contrast, making the skins stand out in-game.
  • Brutal, rugged melee: The melee weapon looks like a makeshift survival tool—half hook, half jagged blade—perfectly fitting the post-apocalyptic theme.

From the preview image, the bundle includes:

  • Vandal
  • Phantom
  • Operator
  • Judge
  • Melee (hook/saw hybrid weapon)

Each skin gives the impression that these weapons were salvaged from a scrapyard, bolted together with whatever materials survivors could find, perfectly encapsulating the wasteland theme.

Price of Wasteland 2.0 Bundle

While Riot hasn’t officially revealed the pricing yet, players can expect the Wasteland 2.0 bundle to fall under the Deluxe Edition tier. That typically puts the full bundle around 5,100 VP, with individual weapon skins costing roughly 1,275 VP each and the melee around 2,550 VP.

Release Date

According to leaks, the Wasteland 2.0 bundle is expected to release in early October 2025, likely rotating into the store as the featured bundle following the current set. As always, release dates may shift depending on Riot’s patch cycle.

The Wasteland skin line has always been a fan favorite because of its rough and one-of-a-kind look. Riot is really getting into the post-apocalyptic survival idea with VALORANT Wasteland 2.0. Fans will get an even more comprehensive and tough set to fight with. This is a bundle you won’t want to miss if you like raw, industrial, and “built-to-survive” looks.
